As a murder investigation is underway, Teito spends his time looking for more information regarding the Eye of Mikhail. He doesn't have much luck however, but he does realize that his powers are starting to awaken. Later, Teito goes to speak with Frau about the night of the murder, and overhears a revealing conversation between Frau and Castor. Not long after, Teito confronts Frau about what he heard, and in the end Frau encourages Teito to prepare himself for the conflicting future. Meanwhile, a familiar enemy manages to discreetly enter the church grounds.
