Super Bowl XLIV was played between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts in Miami, Florida in 2010. However, as is the case with all Super Bowls, the commercials stole some of the spotlight from the stars of the gridiron. The Super Bowl reaches more than 90 million viewers each year â?? a dream come true for advertisers. However, reaching that many eyeballs comes at a steep price of approximately $2.6 million dollars for each 30-second spot. The 2010 Super Bowl commercials aimed to make the most of this half-minute and top the hilarious, shocking, and outrageous spots of years past. Some of the most notable commercials from Super Sunday include an ad for Snickers featuring Betty White, Googleâ??s memorable first national spot, and the Dodge Charger ad â??Manâ??s Last Stand.â? As always, beer, food, and car companies brought their best efforts to the table. Doritos, CareerBuilder, and eTrade also provided some of the 2010 Super Bowlâ??s most memorable plugs.
