'30 Rock' Finale: Which Relationship Doesn't Make It?

Not every relationship survived the penultimate season finale of "30 Rock" (Thu., 8:30 p.m. ET on NBC). Jack and Avery agreed to let Liz officiate the ceremony that would see them renew their wedding vows after Avery's time held captive in Korea. But it turned out they were waiting for someone to stop them. Jack had slept with Avery's mother, while Avery had had a kind of weird tapping romance with a fellow prisoner while away in Korea. Even Kim Jong Il showed up for the ceremony, but in the end none of them stepped up to stop the proceedings. It absolutely disgusted the couple that no one tried to stop them, helping them to realize they needed to stop themselves. So they had Liz divorce them instead. As for Liz, she's clearly grown quite a bit. She was ready to go to prison for Criss, and seems to have completely accepted him for who he is. Could this love be real? It would make sense, as "30 Rock" heads into its final season next year. "30 Rock" has been renewed for a seventh and final 13-episode season, returning to NBC's Thursday night line-up in Fall 2012. TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.

'30 Rock' Season 7 confirmed to be final season: Will Tina Fey stay at NBC?

Though NBC was initially reluctant to confirm that their Season 7 pickup of mainstay sitcom "30 Rock" would be the final season, they did make the official announcement at their Upfront presentation in New York on Monday morning. NBC president Bob Greenblatt revealed that while "30 Rock" had been picked up, it was only for a shortened, 13-episode run -- which would culminate with a one-hour series finale. It comes as little surprise to fans of the show, who have been aware of star Alec Baldwin's publicized discontent with the network. Greenblatt does confirm that Baldwin will return next season. One star who they do hope to see stick around on a more permanent basis is executive producer Tina Fey. "We think the world of Tina Fey, who is truly a comic genius," Greenblatt says, "and we hope she has a home at NBC for years to come."In anticipation of "30 Rock's" exit from the schedule,...
