It's always so difficult to watch these war movies/series most especially when they are written from first hand knowledge and the people are actual living humans and not imagined from a creative mind.. this series for me reminds me that war is war and nothing has changed.. so sad..
well worth the watch and rewatch..

It sucked so bad. A real stinker. And that's also a reference to a major plot vehicle. Poop jokes and bad sexual innuendos, verging on misogyny. The production values and special effects are amazing. (If you can make it through 2 episodes, you'll see some cool stuff) The actors are all very good at their craft. But the story is boring, the characters are unlikeable (hateable, in fact) and I frowned through most of the show. It's just not funny at all. I made it through 7 episodes and finally threw in the towel. Proof that writers make or break a show. They broke this one.
