Addy Miller was born on January 4, 2000 in North Carolina.

Addy got the chance to be Young Lily 9 days after she turned 8 years old.

Addy plays on two soccer teams, is a straight A student, and attends a small private school.

Being on set was exciting for Addy, and her favorite memory is meeting Dakota Fanning. Dakota Fanning even wrote Addy a sweet note thanking her for being her "mini me". She has to be one of the sweetest actresses out there - Dakota really knew how to make Addy feel special!!

Addy had to have 6 inches of her hair cut off, and bangs added for this role. She was brave, but you could tell she was upset to lose the hair - so Paul Bettany came over to speak with her and comfort her. He spoke of his son, it was very touching.

Addy did get to briefly meet Hilarie Burton too, she was incredibly nice to Addy, and you could tell she was a genuine person.

Because Young Lily is 4 years old in the flashback scenes, they only used Addy's face, the arm and hands of Young Lily are a body double.

Addy is represented by Maultsby Talent in Wilmington, NC. Three days before the audition for Secret Life of Bees, her agent kept pushing for Addy to attend, she really believed Addy looked like a Young Dakota Fanning - and she was right. Addy almost didn't go.

Addy is always thankful to God, her parents, Maultsby Talent and to Fincannon Casting for giving her this first big break. What a wonderful way to get started in the movie business.
