[WATCH] 'American Idol' Poll: Did Manny Torres' Latin Spin on a Maroon 5 Song Work?

"It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right -- I hope you had the time of your life." While it's a little early to start playing Green Day's "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," the lyrics are still fitting as we say goodbye to one of the most iconic elements of American Idol -- the auditions.   Yes, the auditions can be unpredictable at times -- why did the judges give Brian Dale Brown a golden ticket? -- but in the end, it's all about the journey and having fun along the way.    Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/watch-american-idol-poll-did-m-58609.aspx

[WATCH] 'American Idol' Poll: Did Emily Brooke Improve from Her Season 14 Audition?

The American Idol auditions are about to end for good. I wasn't all that impressed with the overall talent featured in week two. And considering the promos for the final week were teasing lots of craziness, I was worried things would go downhill. Fortunately, episode five was one of the best audition episodes this season, on par with what we saw during premiere week.   Out of all the contestants featured in the episode, seven received golden tickets to Hollywood. And of that group, there were three singers that really stood out to me.   Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/watch-american-idol-poll-did-e-58595.aspx

'American Idol' Predictions: Who Will Win Season 14?

There's now less than 24 hours until the penultimate winner of American Idol is announced. Will it be a white male singer or will it be -- shocker -- a white male singer?   Both Clark Beckham and Nick Fradiani have had standout moments throughout the course of season 14. Clark was considered the frontrunner early on, while Nick has had a slow and steady rise.   Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-predictions-who-56523.aspx

'American Idol' Predictions: Who Will Be in the Top 2?

With less than 48 hours until Ryan Seacrest announces who the penultimate winner of American Idol will be, is it obvious who will be competing for the title during Part 1 of the season 14 finale? Clark Beckham has been the frontrunner all season long, but with Nick Fradiani's rise in recent weeks, could he bump Clark out of the running? And is Jax the only one pretty much assured a spot in the Top 2 or will it be an all-boys finale? Let's take a look at the three contestants' chances of sticking around one final time or falling short before the final votes can even be cast.  Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-predictions-who-56465.aspx

'American Idol' Predictions: Who Will Be in the Top 3?

When we all sat down to watch the previous episode of American Idol , there were some things most of us assumed: one, that either Tyanna or Rayvon would be going home, and two, that Clark was still the frontrunner, as he's been for weeks and weeks. But once the night was over and we assessed what happened, some things changed: One, could Rayon possibly make it as far as the Top 3 at the rate he's going? And two, Clark is no longer the definitive frontrunner. What happened? Well, Clark sort of pulled a Quentin and put himself in the most danger he's been in this entire competition. Is that a big enough of a game-changer that it'll upend who makes it to the finale? Let's take a look at the remaining singers and their chances of staying, being in danger and going home.   Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-predictions-who-56422.aspx

'American Idol' Predictions: Who Will Be in the Top 4?

The most recent episode of American Idol was a big one. Not only did the contestants find out if they'd be going on tour this summer, but we the fans got to say farewell to the Twitter Save for the season. From now on, the finalists don't get a second chance at being saved; if they have the fewest number of votes, they're gone.   And considering the fact that Rayvon Owen won the Twitter Save every single time, what happens to him now? At some point during that run, he was bound to have the least amount of votes from America (on more than one occasion, most likely). So does this mean that, without the safety net, he's gone? Let's take a look at the remaining singers and their chances of staying, being in danger and going home.   Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-predictions-who-56342.aspx

'American Idol' Predictions: Who Will Be in the Top 5?

American Idol lost one of the most talented and unique singers of the season when we last tuned in to the show. Sure, "Wrecking Ball" the week before wasn't as original as we're used to from Joey Cook, but considering she went up against Rayvon Owen for the Twitter Save, it was obvious who should've stayed and who should have left.   Rayvon really is like Teflon at this point. He's been in the Bottom 2 every single week and survives each time. At some point, that luck will run out, but when? And when you look at who is left in the competition with him -- Tyanna Jones, Clark Beckham, Jax, Nick Fradiani and Quentin Alexander -- I can point out three singers who I would hate to see go home over Rayvon. (Hint: it's the first three I mentioned.)   Read More... http://www.buddytv.com/articles/american-idol/american-idol-predictions-who-56294.aspx
