'America's Next Top Model' winner Ann Ward: 'Different is beautiful'

At The CW's viewing party for the "America's Next Top Model" finale, Zap2it had the rare opportunity of watching alongside the two finalists. Afterward, we spoke to Dallas native and Cycle 15's high fashion winner, Ann Ward, about what it was like to relive the experience. "I was really nervous about it," Ann, 19, told us. "But it was really, really fun, because Chelsey was there with me and we got to laugh at all the goofy things that we were doing. Yeah, it was really exciting." Watching the finale, the girls made it really hard to pick a clear-cut winner. Even Ann thought Chelsey would run away with the title. To Read More Click Here.

Is 'America's Next Top Model' Winner a Surprise? (VIDEO)

Cycle 15 of 'America's Next Top Model' (Wed., 8PM ET on CW) started with 14 models and narrowed it down to two: Ann Ward and Chelsey Hersley. Who would the judges choose -- the 6-foot-2 Texan or the blonde bombshell? After Tyra Banks announced the Top Model, the winning contestant burst into tears. (The runner-up stood stoic and silent.) Meanwhile, was judge André Leon Talley wearing a shower curtain? "Can you think about the people that made fun of you?" Tyra asked Ann. She answered, "There gonna look back and be like, 'Man, I should've been so nice to that girl.'" Source & Video

Open Thread: What Were the Best and Worst Photos of 'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 15?

Every cycle of America's Next Top Model has its traditions, like Tyra's newsie caps and Andre Leon Talley's fabulous wizard capes. Here at BuddyTV, we have our own Top Model traditions, which, though they may not be as sparkly, are at least much more substantive. I'm talking, of course, about the Best and Worst Photos of the Season Slideshows! For the last few seasons, I have come up with these lists on my own, with a delicious sense of executive authority. And I still plan to do so, as is my responsibility and right as your blogger-captain on this website-ship. (If you don't like it, make your own blog and your own lists!) But like any good captain, and unlike Tyra, I must be open to the suggestions and input of my crew. To Read More Click Here.

'America's Next Top Model' Finale Clip + Spoiler: And the Winner Is ...

This Wednesday is the America's Next Top Model cycle 15 finale, in which we will finally see Tyra's final two, Ann and Chelsey, go head to pretty head in a final Covergirl photo shoot and Roberto Cavalli runway show. Last week, after Kayla and Jane got the boot, I posed the season's final question to you all: Who should win, Ann or Chelsey? You all replied with compelling reasons for both girls to take home the victory, but the overall consensus, in the comments and the poll, was clear: This season's first-photo champion, Ann, is your overall favorite to win. TV Ratings: Thanksgiving Eve gives CBS a quiet win

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 It was a quiet Thanksgiving Eve on Wednesday night, with another soft night for the networks. "Human Target," which premiered last week and introduced new female characters, lost over a million viewers in its second episode. It was a night of reruns and recap episodes, and with the day before Thanksgiving being a popular night for both traveling and bar-hopping, its no surprise that the only show to break a 3.0 in the key demo was "Modern Family" with a 3.7. CBS averaged 8.1 million viewers and a 4.9/9 share in households . ABC (7.4 million, 4.4/8)  beat FOX (5.3 million, 3.0/5) for second place. NBC took fourth with 5.2 million viewers and a 3.0/5, while The CW came in with 1.4 million viewers and a 0.9/2. In the adults 18-49 demo, ABC led with a 2.3 rating. FOX was in second with a 1.8, followed by CBS with 1.7, NBC with 1.6, and The CW with a 0.5. To Read More  Click Here.

Interview with Jane of 'Top Model' Cycle 15: 'Relieved to be Rid of the Pressure'

As   Jane   Randall,  one of the latest eliminees   on   America's Next Top Model cycle 15, pointed out when I spoke to her late last week, she didn't get much airtime. Even in person, the judges felt her personality was too under wraps.   But maybe that's for the best when it comes to using a reality show to jump-start your career. Instead of becoming a caricature,   Jane   proved herself in front of the camera, and gained skills and experience that any 19-year-old just starting out in the business would dream of, while keeping a constant composure throughout. (Well, most of the time, anyway.) Considering all this show's opportunities for self-embarrassment, in terms of the kind of   Top Model  contestant I'd want to be, being the season's Jane would be at the top of my list.   To Read More  Click Here.

Interview with Kayla of 'Top Model' Cycle 15: 'It Was All Worth It in the End'

It was   Kayla   Ferell's goal to be the first openly gay winner of   America's Next Top Model,   and her beauty and talents as a model got her far toward that goal:   All the way to the final four of cycle 15.   It may not have been in Tyra's cards for Kayla   to win (as anyone who has been following along here knows I was hoping she would) but there's no doubt the experience was life-changing on many levels for the fresh-faced redhead from Rockford, Illinois. Well, she's a redhead now, anyway. Just one of the many positives to come out of her time on  Top Model.  Here's what Kayla had to say about the others: To Read More    Click Here.

Beauty Over Brains: ANTM's Jane Leaves Princeton to Pursue Modeling Career - Wetpaint

She's strikingly beautiful, she's got the brains to make it at Princeton, but Jane just didn't have what it took to beat out Ann and Chelsey to make the Top Model finals. The judges harped on the fact that  her personality wasn't as strong as say, Chris', but Jane thinks that's unfair. We chatted with the Ivy League beauty about getting close to Ann and how she was discovered at a Starbucks! To Read More Click Here.
