CBS (5.65 million, 3.8/6) came in second, followed by ABC (3.8 million, 2.7/5). America's Next Top Model: College Edition: Details Emerge for Cycle 19

The 19th cycle of Top Model may be months away from premiering, but it's never too early to get a better idea of how the show will look, particularly after the extreme makeover it received after cycle 18. The show had typically only made minor adjustments from cycle to cycle, mostly within the judging panel, but going into the College Edition, things are going to be quite different than any Top Model fan is used to. Let's start with the prize pack, which has grown in both volume and variety in recent times on Top Model. The girls from cycle 19 will have the typical modeling contract (with LA/NY models), but the show has adopted three new partners in Smashbox Cosmetics, Nine West and Nylon Magazine. Rather than the CoverGirl contract that has been on Top Model from day one and a spread in Vogue Italia (dating back to cycle 16), the winner of Top Model will have a fashion spread in Nylon and campaigns with Smashbox, Nine West, and the America's Next Top Model fragrance Dream Come True. On top of that, they'll have a $100,000 cash prize, so one can argue that pound for pound, this may be the most impressive cycle in terms of the winner's bounty. TV ratings: 'So You Think You Can Dance' steps up Wednesday, Stanley Cup Finals soft

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, May 30, 2012"So You Think You Can Dance" scored Wednesday night's biggest audience, improving on its premiere last week and leading FOX to a victory in primetime. Elsewhere, the opening of hockey's Stanley Cup Finals on NBC was down a good amount from last year's Game 1. CBS got decent viewer numbers from its new show "Dogs in the City," but its demographic numbers were nothing to bark about, and the season finale of "America's Next Top Model" was up slightly.FOX averaged 7 million viewers and a 4.3 rating/7 share in households for the night, beating out CBS' 6.55 million viewers and 4.4/7. ABC (3.6 million, 2.4/4) came in third. NBC grabbed fourth with 2.7 million viewers and a 1.7/3 (which may change some because of the live sports coverage), and The CW (1.15 million, 0.8/1) trailed.FOX had a wider lead in the adults 18-49 demo -- its 2.6 rating... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/05/tv-ratings-so-you-think-you-can-dance-steps-up-wednesday-stanley-cup-finals-soft.html

America's Next Top Model: Listen to a Preview of the Winner's Single

The past couple of Top Model cycles have incorporated music much more than in previous years. Sure, you had a "video girl" challenge now and then, as well as The Great Shake Ya Body Debacle of 2004, but it always felt more tangential than something truly important in the cycle. With the music video challenge becoming a Top Model  staple, having been included in two cycles running, it was only a matter of time before a single was to be released. Cycle 18 champion  Sophie Sumner received, among other things in her ginormous prize pack, a record contract for a single with CBS. On the same night of her victory of American spitfire Laura LaFrate, the single has made its debut. It's a bubbly, 80s drenched piece of dance-pop that's honestly a pretty cute song, especially when accompanied by the highlight reel that The CW made for the song's preview below. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvovermind/tvnews/~3/g4BWWZ-9QqI/
