Archer finally meets his ultimate enemy: Space Pirates!

We've seen secret agent Sterling Archer fight some pretty awesome foes in past seasons, but it looks like when the show returns in January he's going to be dealing with the coolest enemy of them all: space pirates.  Read More... http://feeds.gawker.com/~r/io9/full/~3/bwra0M6vQRU/archer-finally-meets-his-ultimate-enemy-space-pirates-1488618044

'Archer': Lana is very pregnant in new Season 5 'GTA'-themed poster

FX just debuted a new "Archer" Season 5 poster, and Lana certainly is showing her pregnancy. That is the most attention-grabbing part of the "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City"-themed new image, which comes courtesy of Uproxx. Lana flaunts her baby belly while Malory sunbathes, Krieger swims fully clothed in the water and Cheryl/Carol goes country. Just what is actually going on here? This wouldn't be the first time an "Archer" promo went pop culture-themed for Season 5. A teaser music video was a recreation of "Top Gun's" "Danger Zone" that doesn't seem to actually have anything to do with the Season 5 plot. The case could be the same with this poster. When Zap2it recently caught up with Chris Parnell, he did say that big changes were in store for the ISIS gang. Who knows how Lana's pregnancy will actually affect the team, especially with her baby's father yet to be revealed. "[Season 5 is]... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/12/archer-lana-is-very-pregnant-in-new-season-5-gta-themed-poster.html

'Archer' Season 5: Chris Parnell promises 'a big shakeup' for ISIS

Though the promos for "Archer" Season 5 have been awesome, they haven't been especially informative about the direction of the new season. According to Chris Parnell, that's because big changes are coming for the show's central characters. Zap2it spoke with Parnell while he was promoting his new Adult Swim series "Rick and Morty" and discussed in vague terms the new season. He teases that ISIS is going to be finding a new home base in the new episodes. "[Season 5 is] going to be very different. It's going to be a big shakeup for the ISIS gang. They're not going to be in ISIS anymore," he says. "They're going to be staking out digs in somebody's house. They'll still travel; the story will still have a similar tone to it. The show premieres in January, so you'll find out in due time." "Archer" Season 5 premieres on FX on Jan. 13 at 10 p.m. What... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/archer-season-5-chris-parnell-promises-a-big-shakeup-for-isis.html

'Archer' Season 5 promo: Comic-Con video with Pam and her puppet revealed

The Isis Orientation Video that was screened during "Archer's" 2013 San Diego Comic-Con panel has finally made its way online. In the video, Pam tries to teach people about conflict resolution at Isis. Let's just say it doesn't go well -- and ends with Pam in tears that potentially smell of bacon and garbage. "Archer" Season 5 still doesn't have a premiere date more specific than "January 2014," but its promos certainly know how to whet fans' appetites. The last teaser to be released was styled after "Top Gun," but with a surprising twist ending. Little is known about the plot of Season 5, but star Aisha Tyler explained at SDCC why they are keeping things hush-hush. "This season is so explosive we can't show you anything," she said back in July. Are you looking forward to the return of "Archer" on FX?... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/archer-season-5-promo-comic-con-video-with-pam-and-her-puppet-revealed.html

Archer Season 5 Promo: Enter the Danger Zone!

Archer Season 5 does not get underway until January. But to get fans of this animated hit in the mood for this spy's hilariously ridiculous actions, FX has released an extended promo for the series, one that imagines Archer like Maverick from Top Gun. He's playing volleyball. He's riding a motorcycle. He's exchanging an awesome high-five on the runway. He's being all-around awesome. In his head, that is.  Read More...   http://www.tvfanatic.com/2013/10/archer-season-5-promo-making-like-maverick/

'Archer' panel at Comic-Con 2013: No episode, but plenty of laughs

Those fans who came to the "Archer" San Diego Comic-Con panel to hear discussion about "Archer" were likely sorely disappointed. Barring a satellite appearance from Sterling Archer himself and a quick Isis training video that revealed more about Pam than Isis as a corporation, much of the panel was spent with the cast just goofing off and talking about penises and anal sex. But that might have been the most "Archer" part of the panel, as the cast really does embody the characters they portray in the FX animated comedy. In previous years, the "Archer" panel has usually shown a new episode from the upcoming season. But apparently that was impossible for 2013. "This season is so explosive we can't show you anything and instead we just underwhelmed the f*** out of you for an hour," Aisha Tyler explains at the end of the panel. At least the cast did a panel read where each... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/07/archer-panel-at-comic-con-2013-no-episode-but-plenty-of-laughs.html
