Nickelodeon Renews Big Time Rush for Season 3

Big Time Rush  has been renewed for a 20-episode third season, Nickelodeon announced Tuesday. The series, which follows four Minnesota boys who move to Los Angeles for a chance at music stardom, will go back into production in January 2012. Jordin Sparks and the Big Time Rush Boys Debut New Video

In Friday's episode of Big Time Rush (8/7c on Nickelodeon), the guys bump into American Idol winner Jordin Sparks when she's recording a new song with the band's label. Not only did the show's stars, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson, get to act alongside the singer, but the foursome filmed a new music video with her as well. Shooting with Sparks "was a lot of fun," Pena tells "She's very talented, and it's a very funny episode."
