On November 14, 2006, Shueisha announced that a manga adaptation of Blue Dragon will be produced. Blue Dragon ST (Secret Trick) will be drawn by Shibata Ami and will premiere in Monthly Shonen Jump in January. Takeshi Obata, the illustrator of Death Note is handling Blue Dragon Ral Grado, which began serialization in Issue 1 2007 of Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz will also release the manga as Ral Grad in February 2008.
Shu
The final battle arrives between Shu and the more powerful demon Zola. After Shu defeats Zola everyone begins the resealing of the darkness. But they learn that in order to free the world of darkness, a sacrifice of the shadows must be made. So everybody uses up every last drop of energy that their shadows possess and they reseal the darkness. They all lose their shadows in the process.
