Boardwalk Empire Star Jack Huston Lands Lead in Ben-Hur Remake

Paramount and MGM have set Boardwalk Empire star Jack Huston to play the titular role in their biblical epic remake of Ben-Hur, an individual with knowledge of the production tells TheWrap . The story follows childhood best friends Judah Ben-Hur and Messala, who become enemies after Messala betrays Judah, a Jewish prince, allowing him to be sold into slavery. Boardwalk Empire Season Premiere Even With Last Year

The premiere of the final season of Boardwalk Empire on Sunday night pulled even with last season's premiere, racking up 2.4 million total viewers with its initial 9 p.m. airing. Compared to last year's season finale, which drew 2.2 million total viewers, the Boardwalk Empire premiere was up 9 percent.
