* Big Brother 11 (8/7c CBS) Russell was the unanimous choice for eviction last week and no one was really sorry to see him go, and some, namely Jeff and Jordan, let him know it. But in just 12 days he will be one of the jury members who determines the $500,000 winner. Tonight, the final four will be revealed after one unlucky houseguest gets the boot. So, who will join current Head of Household Kevin in the final quartet and perhaps be just a dozen days away from the ultimate prize? * Into the Pride (8/7c Animal Planet ) Heavens to Murgatroyd! Time flies when you're living in the wild with a pack of (potentially) man-eating big cats. It's been six months and Dave Salmoni, animal lover and conservationist, has done what he can to curb the bad attitudes of the Erindi Reserve's rogue lions. Now it's time for him to say his good-byes and return home, or as Snagglepuss would say, "Exit, stage left!" * A Dog Year (8/7c HBO ) It may be the Year of the Ox in China, but it's gone to the dogs in this 2009 comedy-drama based on the best-selling memoir by Jon Katz. Jeff Bridges stars as Katz, an author with writer's block and a fizzled marriage whose midlife crisis becomes even more difficult after he adopts an abused dog, an energetic border collie that challenges Katz to shake himself out of a downward spiral. The film is the directorial debut for screenwriter George LaVoo, and also stars Lauren Ambrose and Lois Smith. * The Real Housewives of Atlanta (10/9c Bravo ) The heat is on in Hotlanta with more diva dynamics and developments. First there's Kim, who lays down the law to a newly arriving nanny, but at least she also sets out to make peace with Lisa. And NeNe is knee-deep in a project, directing her fellow belles in a photo shoot, during which Kim and Sheree begin to click. But there's a serious turn of events when Kandi suffers a family tragedy - her plans for an engagement party now shattered. * Bones (8/7c Fox) In this repeat from May (the penultimate episode of Season 4), Brennan shocks Booth with her sudden desire to have a baby - and she wants him to be the father! Stunned, Booth does his best to process this momentous decision with some help from Family Guy's Stewie Griffin (voice of Seth MacFarlane). Of course, we now know what Booth's hallucinations were all about, but it can't hurt to have a little refresher (the Season 4 finale repeats next week) before Season 5 begins on Sept. 17. Source Here
Christmas is still four months away but Bones is already giving its fans a treat by announcing that Zooey Deschanel, movie star sister of Emily Deschanel, will possibly be making a guest appearance on the show this December. With both Deschanel sisters in the entertainment circuit, Bones fans have been waiting for this on-screen pairing for quite some time now. However, "Zooey's rockin' career kept getting in the way," according to show exec producer Hart Hanson. While older sister Emily has been solving crime mysteries as Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan on the small screen since 2005, younger sister Zooey has been making a name for herself in the big screen with supporting roles in Almost Famous and The New Guy, before playing lead in All the Real Girls, Elf, The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, The Happening , Yes Man and 500 Days of Summer. We've witnessed how engaging they both are separately, now it's time to see how their on-screen chemistry plays out when Zooey appears as a relative of Emily's Brennan on Bones. "We've been looking for an opportunity to get the Deschanel girls together," Hanson told Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. "We alluded to [Bones] having a cousin in Minnesota two seasons ago. I'd very much like to meet her in the Christmas episode." Of course, that's assuming that Zooey's schedule can accommodate the filming of Bones. At present, she's busy working on the movie Your Highness, a fantasy comedy about an arrogant, lazy price and his more heroic brother who must complete a mission in order to save their father's kingdom. Zooey, who plays Belladonna, stars alongside Natalie Portman, James Franco, Damian Lewis and Danny McBride. Source Here
Check out the first pictures of the season 5 premiere of Bones which returns this Fall on Thursday, September 17, at 8pm on Fox. This Bones episode is titled "Harbingers in the Fountain" and the story revolves around Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) searching for evidence after a psychic (guest star Cyndi Lauper) provides them with valuable information. This looks like it will be really interesting to watch, especially after last season's Bones finale. During the summer, we had the opportunity to interview two Bones stars David Boreanaz and Michaela Conlin. They both shared some interesting tidbits which should gave us a good idea of the season to come. Anyway, for now enjoyed the pictures Here .
All the promos, previews and spoilers for Bones have made the long wait for season 5 all the more difficult simply because the suspense is killing me. It also hasn't been easy knowing that Brennan ran off to Guatemala while Booth remains in a state of confusion, and that Angela will end her vow of celibacy with someone we all know. Now we still have about four weeks of agony before Booth and Brennan returns to our TV screens on September 17 so I can just imagine all the questions running through your mind. Luckily, Bones show runner and executive producer Hart Hanson has addressed some of these concerns without giving away too much to spoil your enjoyment of the upcoming season. As mentioned in the Bones season 5 preview, the season opener will kick off weeks later and after Brennan returns from a trip to Guatemala. This alone makes me wonder why on earth would Brennan leave Booth at a time when he needs her most. But that's not the case, according to Hart, who says, "We've set up a few times that when she's really miserable she goes down there [Guatemala] and identifies victims of the genocide down there and there are so many still remaining unidentified. So when she's really miserable she just throws herself into that. I promise you, Brennan did not abandon Booth. Watch the season opener; you'll see." As for Angela's much awaited storyline, Hanson of course remains tightlipped about who she's hooking up with. However, he doesn't want to rule out any male character on the show, and that includes Booth. "If you remember from last year, she was going to do six months of being celibate at Sweet's advice, so just today she broke her stretch of celibacy... I'm not saying with whom," Hanson teased. "Someone we know. I told [Michaela Conlin] about fifteen minutes ago and she went [makes excited gasping noise]. So it was a good reaction!" Source Here
If last week's season 5 preview got you all excited for the new season of Bones , this week's clip will surely bring your anticipation to the roof. Fox has just released a new video which kicks off with Booth acting all happy to be back at work while Brennan reminds him to never look happy at a crime scene --- a segment that we've already seen last week. But the best part? Booth telling Brennan that he loves her! The clip, which lasts 30 seconds, gives viewers a quick glimpse of what to expect when Bones returns on September 17. Naturally, the season 5 opener sheds light on the aftermath of Booth's coma and his relationship with Brennan now that everything is all "different." Then there's Cyndi Lauper, who guest stars as a psychic and it looks like she thinks that Booth and Brennan are linked in a very spiritual way. However, the much awaited part comes at the 21-second mark in which Booth says something that he's been wanting to say to Brennan since he got out of the comma: "I love you!" But don't get your hopes up because Booth quickly tries to play it off by saying, "in a, that girl kind of way." Still, it was nice hearing Booth say those words. Meanwhile, Bones fans may witness yet another crossover. After the Family Guy -Bones crossover, FOX is reportedly toying with the idea of staging a storyline next season that would find Booth and Brennan working on a case with Tim Roth's Lie to Me doc Lightman, according to Entertainment Weekly. However, "the insider cautions that it's in the very early stages and may not even happen." To Watch The Promo Click here . Source Here
Brought about by events at the end of season 4, Bones returns for its fifth season on September 17 with Booth and Brennan struggling with the emotional fallout resulting from the change in their relationship. While that alone would make potentially great storylines, including the repercussions of Brennan's request to have Booth father her child, the new season offers interesting plots set up for the other characters. Warning: Bones season 5 spoilers ahead!!! According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Bones is looking to cast an actress in her late teens to play Cam's adopted daughter Michelle. Yes, you heard me right it's Michelle. You're probably confused as I am since we've already met Cam's adopted daughter Michelle in the past. Evidently, "we're going to learn that Cam's got another adopted daughter around the same age and with the same name." How weird is that? Meanwhile, executive producer Hart Hanson reveals some Angela spoilers early in the season: She'll break her vow of celibacy with a man! "It's someone we've seen before," he teased. "I just told Michaela who it was and she shrieked." It's also probably no accident that in the same episode, Angela and Brennan's friendship is tested like never before. "Angela and Brennan have a big fight," Hanson added. "Their friendship is deeply challenged. It'll be the first time that Brennan realizes that being totally rational about something isn't necessarily being a good friend. And every time she has done that in the past, Angela has come around and excused Brennan's behavior. This time, if they're friendship is to be maintained, Brennan has to take a step toward the irrational." As of this moment, there is no word yet on the fifth season's guest stars other than Cyndi Lauper gracing the first episode. However, Hanson says that one familiar face will be making a return appearance. "[Stephen Fry (Gordon Gordon Wyatt)] seems to be available, so we're going to try and get him for episode ten," Hanson said of Booth and Brennan's original psychiatrist. "It may be [for] the Christmas show....if it's the Christmas show, he's the perfect guy to come back." Source Here
Televisionary recently got a chance to speak with showrunner and executive producer of Bones about what's coming up on season 5. And since a lot of you enjoyed our interview with Michaela Conlin, I thought you might enjoy this interview as well. Here is a little excerpt of what Hart Hanson had to say about Booth's mental state at the beginning of the season: It's six weeks later and Booth is contending with the confusion caused either by his real feelings for Brennan or the hangover--is that the right word?--the residue of his experience in his coma. He is very confused about the world right now. He hasn't got amnesia. We come back just as Sweet says, okay, you can go back to work. But there's definite repercussions from what he went through at the end of the season finale. And I hope that will make people feel like their complaints about the season finale are being addressed in the season opener and people will like it more in retrospect. We'll find out. Source Here
* Royal Pains (10/9c USA Network ) Hank has his hands full tonight with Tucker's not-so-cooperative dad (played by Andrew McCarthy), who attempts to kick his drug-and-alcohol problem by undergoing a rapid detox program.
