Bones Promo: "The Hole in the Heart"

Bones is back, baby. After a few lackluster episodes, last night's "The Sign in the Silence" reminded us why we love the Jeffersonian team and their quirky, funny, thought-provoking ways. Next week, in the third installment of the sniper arc, Jacob Broadsky (Arnold Vosloo) returns and takes out another innocent victim with a bullet that was meant for Booth, who becomes more determined to catch Broadsky once and for all. The first two episodes featuring Broadsky were both very solid, so here's hoping the trend continues as we head into May 19's game-changing season finale. Here's Fox's promo for "The Hole in the Heart" ...

'Bones': The 'silence' before the storm

If you watched the preview of next week's "Bones," chances are you aren't really in the mood to rehash "The Signs in the Silence," but maybe focusing on this for a while will help us not think about the looming death-sex-pocalypse. ... still not working? Well let's recap anyway. Our all-time favorite gal Caroline Julian (Patricia Belcher) interrupts Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) discussing Brennan's maternal prospects (!) with an interesting case. A deaf and mute girl is a witness/suspect to a murder and the only way to figure out if she committed it or not is by looking at x-rays of her bones. Well, here's a twist we haven't seen before -- and an excuse to bring up some long-simmering Brennan issues. For the squints: The young girl, Amy, arrives covered in blood and dirt, fighting off attempts at x-rays or any examination, but her inability to communicate and clear history...

'Bones' finally goes there: Who's dying? And who's hooking up?

A new episode of "Bones" is starting right about... now, but it's the promo for the episode that follows that already has our minds spinning. TVLine posted an early look at the promo for the penultimate Season 6 episode, "The Hole in the Heart," and in addition to dropping the bomb that sniper Jacob Broadsky is finally going to take out a member of the Jeffersonian gang, romance is also in the cards. As for the death, our money is on the increasingly non-present Sweets (John Francis Daley) or the not-so-pivotal Mr. Nigel-Murray (Ryan Cartwright), but let's be honest. We wouldn't notice if they wiped out half of the cast if Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan finally consummated six seasons of aching sexual tension. And it looks like they just might. But would they really spoil that in a promo? Who knows, but the evidence seems indisputable. Not only do we get a shot of the two...
