"Bones" Season 8 returns from its winter hiatus on Monday, Jan. 14 with a special double episode. The first of these episodes, "The Diamond in the Rough," deals with a murder that happens in the world of competitive ballroom dance. Judges and dancers from "So You Think You Can Dance" will guest-star to make it all seem more real. What's with the title? You may have noticed in the first video that the body under examination is rather sparkly. Since "Bones" is a show that prides itself on disgusting bodies, it's kind of cool to see one that's actually pretty. Too bad Brennan (Emily Deschanel) will have to take off all the crystals.By the time we get to the next clip, the team has identified the body. It turns out that she was a competitor in a dance show."Special K" -- isn't that a slang term for drugs? And is "Bones" going to explain the background... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/01/bones-videos-sneak-peeks-for-the-diamond-in-the-rough-and-the-archaeologist-in-the-cocoon.html

"Bones" will be back next year. FOX has announced that the drama will return for season 9 for the 2013-2014 season. In a surprise announcement, the network decided to grant an early renewal to the romantic-comedy-procedural program currently in its 8th season. This is a major change after last season when negotiations for renewal went down to the wire and no renewal was announced until late spring."After more than 150 episodes, BONES continues to be one of television's most dynamic and consistent dramas," said Fox Chairman of Entertainment Kevin Reilly. "We at FOX, along with millions of zealous fans, look forward to seeing where the incredible creative team takes the series next season."Starring David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel, "Bones" has been one of FOX's strongest dramas over the past several years. We know it's a new year and whatever, but hands up if you're still in mourning over the death of Swaisy? We'll never forget how Sweets (John Francis Daley) ripped Daisy's (Carla Gallo) heart out of her chest and stomped all over it during this season on Bones, but it looks like he's having some serious second thoughts. Sweets and his squintern lover will run into each other for the first time when Bones returns to hiatus with "The Twist in the Plot," and it looks like Sweets is getting all... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/4bUBL9iuN9w/which-couple-will-have-a-huge-confrontation-when-bones-season-8-returns
Everyone's favorite psychopathic mega nerd is back and ready to attack! We fell in love with Bones' Christopher Pelant after he murdered his first couple townies, but now that he's become a Egyption dignitary we're straight-up obsessed. Yes, he's a murderer, and yes he probably plays Magic the Gathering in his free time, but he's just so lovable! In like, a deranged way. http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/0VxTfHwiyw0/bones-season-8-spoiler-body-discovered-while-this-couple-is-in-bed
Bones season 8 is sadly still on winter hiatus for another couple weeks, but while we wait for the show to come back, let's have a look at a very interesting spoiler about an upcoming February episode. http://www.buddytv.com/articles/bones/bones-spoilers-brennans-near-d-48767.aspx
Bones returns with TWO new episodes back-to-back on Monday, January 14. In the first hour, Fox pulls a little cross-promotion with So You Think You Can Dance as the team goes undercover to solve the weekly murder - and dance champs Eliana Girard and Dmitry Chaplin guest star. In "The Diamond in the Rough," Booth and Brennan reprise their classic aliases Buck and Wanda Moosejaw at a ballroom dancing TV competition. The two SYTYCD pros are some of their stiff competition. Fortunately, it looks like B&B may be able to hang rather convincingly: http://www.tvfanatic.com/2012/12/bones-photo-preview-booth-brennan-and-ballroom-dancing/
