Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story is a 2008 documentary on the campaign tactics used by Lee Atwater while working on the George H.W. Bush 1988 presidential campaign, and how those tactics have transformed presidential campaigns in the United States. The term boogie man in the documentary's title is in reference to the use of Willie Horton, who was convicted of rape and murder, by the Bush campaign against their opponent, Michael Dukakis.
