The Boondocks is a situation comedy, focusing on the lives of the Freeman family. Elementary-school aged black brothers Huey and Riley Freeman have been moved by their Granddad Robert from South Side, Chicago to the quiet, almost completely white suburb of Woodcrest, Maryland.
The TV-MA-rated satire premiered November 6, 2005. The fifteen-episodes first season ended on March 19, 2006, with a second season expected to begin October 2007.
