'Breaking Bad' Season 5b: 'Ozymandias' is series' most-watched episode

When "Breaking Bad" went for the gut with its Season 5b episode "Ozymandias," a whole lot of viewers were watching. AMC has revealed that the third-to-last episode of "Breaking Bad" was watched by 6.4 million people, making it a series high. The "Breaking Bad's" record for highest number of viewers waspreviously 5.9 million; a number that nearly doubled the record before it. Clearly people have decided to catch up on the AMC series now that it's available in full on sites like Netflix, as the final eight episodes of "Breaking Bad" are event television at its finest. The latest "Breaking Bad" episode also broke records in its age demographics. The show set two series highs as 4.05 million adults ages 18-49 tuned in and 3.59 million adults ages 25-54 tuned in. ‘Breaking Bad’ Hits All-Time Ratings Record

“Breaking Bad” had its most-watched episode on Sunday, grabbing 6.4 million total viewers. The episode, which followed a massive cliffhanger last week, also pulled in 4.052 million total viewers in the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers. That put the episode well ahead of the average for the second half of the fifth and final season. As "Breaking Bad" heads into its final three episodes, Laura Fraser, who plays Lydia, tells Zap2it what she can about the series ending -- which is not much.
