Preview of 'CSI: Miami' 7.16: Sink or Swim

The kiss between Delko and Calleigh occurs on the " CSI: Miami " next week's episode. In "Sink or Swim", the future of Delko in CSI is threatened just as his relationship with Calleigh moves to the next level. He is taken away to prison by the INS for failing to address the issue of his forged birth certificate and when he reaches out to his father for help, he gets none. Pirates takes over a luxury yacht owned by defense attorney Derek Powell (guest star P. Diddy) who was suspected of protecting a criminal in a previous episode. Horatio and the team investigate the murder of Powell's fiancee Nadine Walcott but the case is sidetracked when Delko who has the evidence against prime suspect Ken Taber, is thrown to jail. "Sink or Swim" airs March 2. Also, Sofia Milos returns as Yelina Salas, a detective with the Miami-Dade Police Homicide Division who often assist the CSIs in cases. For The Preview Click Here . Ratings: Big Bangers Say, "Thank You, Mr. President!"

Monday's ratings recap: * 8 pm/ET President Barack Obama's first prime-time news conference was watched by 37 million viewers across the Big Four networks. The only odd part: When Thirteen showed up to discuss national health care. * 9 pm CBS comedies dominated, with Two and a Half Men leading the way with 14.88 million viewers. Playing the role of lead-out this week, The Big Bang Theory enjoyed a new (if inflated) all-time high of 13.1 million. The Bachelor (averaging 10.88 mil from 9 to 11 pm) placed second, with 24 (10.5 mil, down 800K) following close behind. Heroes (7.9 mil) dropped 560 thou from the "Fugitives" premiere. * 10 pm CSI: Miami copped the top spot with 13.7 million viewers (down 14 percent week-to-week). Sneak Peek of P. Diddy in 'CSI: Miami' 7.15: Presumed Guilty

On Monday, February 9, " CSI: Miami " will present a guest starring slot filled P. Diddy. The rapper who has been dwelling himself in the acting realm, will play attorney Derek Powell whom Horatio and the team suspect as covering up for a murder. The episode is called "Presumed Guilty". It was reported in November last year that Diddy's cameo in the police drama series will not be a one time stint. He has signed for another one which is also scheduled to air early this year. It will reportedly be the right one after "Presumed Guilty", which is titled "Sink or Swim" and is scheduled to air March 2. In the episode, Horatio's team investigates the murder of Derek Powell's fiancee Nadine Walcott, but their case is sidetracked when Delko, who has evidence against Ken Taber, their prime suspect, is thrown into jail by the INS for failing to address the issue of his forged birth certificate and he gets no help from his natural father, Alex Sharova. Ratings: Chuck Reaches Out and Touches a Season High - Featured

How Monday's Nielsens netted out: * 8 pm/ET House won the hour with 14.75 million total viewers, dropping 810,000 from last week's season high. The Bachelor averaged 10.99 mil over its two-hour run (a new season high), but got bested by The Big Bang Theory and [Two and a Half Men]] along the way. Speaking of CBS' sitcoms, Big Bang dipped 200K to 10.9 mil, while How I Met Your Mother (10.18 mil) slipped 580 thou. Chuck 's Super Bowl-promoted 3-D outing delivered 8.35 mil, for its best audience of the season. Gossip Girl (2.27 mil) inched up a hair from its season low. * 9 pm Both CBS' Men (16.52 million viewers) and Worst Week (10.05 mil) each gaiend about 500K. At 11.28 mil, 24 was down 830K, while the opening of Heroes ' "Fugitives" chapter (8.46 mil) surged nine percent from the "Villains" finale. (Also of note, Heroes notched its best audience since Oct. 20.) One Tree Hill held steady at 2.6 mil. * 10 pm CSI: Miami gained 10 percent to deliver its largest audience since the season premiere - 16 million viewers. Diddy Gets Lawyered for CSI: Miami

Picture it: Horatio Caine face-to-face with P. diddy. It's going to happen. Diddy — er — Sean Combs will make his primetime TV show debut on CSI: Miami , Entertainment Tonight reports. In a two-episode arc scheduled for early next year, the rap mogul will portray a federal prosecutor who clashes with Caine and the Miami gang over a case and a "personal" conflict. Combs, who made his acting debut in the 2001 flick Made, was last seen onscreen in the TV movie adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun in February. Are you looking forward to Diddy's appearances?
