Fast National ratings for Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 The NFL preseason is in full swing and the Chargers-Cowboys match-up Sunday night led NBC to a win in both the total viewers and the adults 18-49 demographic. The Peacock averaged 8.9 million viewers and a 5.4 rating/9 share in households.CBS was second with 6.7 million, 4.2/7, followed by ABC at 5.4 million, 34/6 and FOX at 2.6 million, 1.5/3.In the adults 18-49 demographic, the order was the same. CSI: Miami Kicks Off Kinky Season-Long Mystery

Beginning in CSI: Miami 's fourth episode this fall (titled "Look Who's Taunting"), a twisted season-long mystery will kick off involving a sadistic psychopathic doctor with movie star looks. The CBS procedural is currently casting the role of young Dr. Bryce Wheeler, a late-twenties stud with everything going for him — a lean athletic body, a seemingly caring demeanor, an Ivy League education and a rich family inheritance coming his way. Fast National ratings for Sunday, July 24, 2011Ratings remained extremely steady across the board this week, without much change for the line-up led by CBS's "60 Minutes" and "Big Brother." The one notable difference this week is the introduction of "Same Name," which premiered with comedian Kathy Griffin switching lives with a woman who shares her name. "Same Name" showed a slight boost over last week's "Undercover Boss" rerun.CBS had an average of 6.4 million viewers with a 4.0 rating/7 share in households, easily beating ABC's 4.3 million viewers with a 2.6/5 share. NBC followed (4.1 million, 2.6/5) and FOX trailed (2.8 million, 1.7/3).The adult demo was led by CBS with a 1.5 rating, followed by FOX with 1.4, NBC with 1.0, and ABC with 0.9. CSI: Miami’s Eva La Rue Returns to All My Children

Eva La Rue has joined the growing list of All My Children alumni returning to the ABC soap before it goes off the air in September. Earlier this week, the show announced that it had also snaggedstar Josh Duhamel ( Las Vegas , Transformers ). He'll be back for at least one episode in August, reprising the role of Leo du Pres, who died in 2003. Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) and Cady McClain (Dixie Cooney Martin), both of whom play characters who are now deceased, will also return. La Rue, who currently stars in CBS' CSI: Miami , will be back for several episodes beginning in July.
