Season 3, Episode 3 - "A Warm Safe Place"

9 June, 2009

In this weeks challenge, the girls met with photographer Christopher Wadsworth as well as Helen Pak from Saatchi & Saatchi Canada, an advertising company who developed one of the campaign ideas for Cover Girl’s Outlast Lipstain. In the photo shoot, the girls smashed berries on their faces to emulate how women have struggled through time to get a great lipstain and the girl who won the challenge was awarded 5 extra frames. For the photo shoot, the girls were sent to Nassau, Bahamas, but due to her lack of a passport, one girl was left behind and instead performed in a warehouse studio. In the photos, the girls were required to project the image of a cast away bride. Their task was to show the emotion of a woman who's fiancé left her at the altar. At the final judging, Jay said he expected more from one girls photograph and Nolé commented saying there was an overall gloom and negativity around her. In the end, the girl who felt the best about her shoot was told she did the worst, and with that, she was sent home.
