Caskett's First Christmas: Castle and Beckett Kiss in Season 5, Episode 9: "Secret Santa" (VIDEO)

Did Castle's First Christmas Live Up to Your Expectations?

Throughout Castle’s five glorious seasons, we had yet to see anyone get into the Christmas spirit, but that all changed in Season 5, Episode 9: “Secret Santa.” While Castle and Beckett didn’t spend the episode decking the halls together nor kissing under the mistletoe, the final minutes were a total game-changer. Kate always spent the holidays working, convinced that she had to protect everyone since she couldn’t save her mother, but then she had an epiphany,... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/MRdtS-wwxoE/did-castles-first-christmas-live-up-to-your-expectations

Castle Spoiler: Will Kate Beckett’s Therapist Return in Season 5?

Before Caskett got together, Kate Beckett’s main man was her therapist, Dr. Burke. During her therapy sessions, she dealt with the aftermath of being shot — and eventually spilled her feelings about Rick. But now that our favorite couple is finally together (and happy, at that), does she still need to see the doc? According to Castle cameraman Andrew Bikichky, yes! When a fan tweeted at him, asking if Dr. Burke’s portrayer, Star Trek vet Michael Dorn, would return in Season... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/g3H_2plAUDs/castle-spoiler-will-kate-becketts-therapist-return-in-season-5

Castle Season 5 Spoiler: A Villain Returns During February Sweeps!

So far, Castle Season 5 has felt like a series of Castle and Beckett-centric divertissements — and we're certainly not complaining. After four years of unresolved sexual tension, these two deserve some uninterrupted time to work through their relationship issues and give each other sensual hand massages. They owe it to each other — and to us! But don't get too cozy with all these cute Caskett-focused episodes. According to Castle creator Andrew Marlowe, our favorite show will up... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/QPVpdocYsHk/castle-season-5-spoiler-a-villain-returns-during-february-sweeps

When Does Castle Season 5 Return From Winter Hiatus?

It’s going to be a long, cold Castle-less winter. Our favorite show doesn’t return for almost a month, with Season 5, Episode 10: “Significant Others” airing on Jan. 7, 2013. Although many shows — including Castle — go on winter hiatuses every year, it’s never easy to cope with the Caskett void in our lives. But thankfully, the show has given us a few tidbits to tide us over. First and foremost, when Castle and Beckett ring in the new year,... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/_64z2Bam1D4/when-does-castle-season-5-return-from-winter-hiatus

'Castle' casting scoop: Nathan Fillion reunites with fellow 'Firefly' alum Gina Torres

Browncoats unite ... again! Nathan Fillion will be joined by another one of his "Firefly" co-stars on "Castle": Gina Torres is guesting in this season's 14th episode, reports TVLine. Torres, who now plays the icy, shrewd managing partner of a high-powered law firm on "Suits," will square off against Castle and Beckett (Stana Katic) as a devious fashion mogul. Her character, Samantha Foster, also happens to star on a "Real Housewives"-type reality show. (Fingers crossed for more "Swan Song"/"Spinal Tap" on-camera hilarity!) Last season, "Firefly" alum Adam Baldwin also paid a visit to "Castle." His episode was packed full of Browncoat Easter eggs, so expect more winks when Captain Tightpants reunites with his second-in-command. What other "Firefly" actors would you like to see on "Castle"?... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/12/castle-casting-scoop-nathan-fillion-reunites-with-fellow-firefly-alum-gina-torres.html

'Castle' Spoilers: Castle's Dad, Esposito's Past, Caskett's First Valentine's Day & More

Castle season 5 may have signed off for 2012 with a fun Christmas episode, but it won't be long until our favorite crime-fighting couple will be back on our TV screens. To help tide us over until that happens, here are a few spoilers about some upcoming episodes in 2013.  http://www.buddytv.com/articles/castle/castle-spoilers-castles-dad-es-48647.aspx

Castle Spoiler: Will Richard Castle's Dad Be Introduced in Season 5?

So far Castle Season 5 hasn't delivered the usual nail-biting cliffhangers we've seen in previous seasons — but hold onto your seats, Castle fans. Show creator Andrew Marlowe has something huge planned for February sweeps, including the much-anticipated two-part episode.  According to TV Guide, this season's "explosively personal" two-parter will explore a storyline that's been on the backburner since Season 4's double episode — Rick Castle's father! As the story goes,... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/Gquw86q3_x0/castle-spoiler-will-richard-castles-dad-be-introduced-in-season-5

Is Castle's Detective Ryan Ready to Be a Dad?

If all goes according to plan, the 12th precinct could see its newest addition — a tiny baby Ryan! But is Kevin ready? The brains behind our favorite bromance fills Esposito in that Jenny wants to start the baby-making for keeps this time. Ryan’s pretty nervous about the idea, citing all the bad he’s witnessed in the world every day as a homicide detective. And it’s not like he always walks away from a case unscathed. So far, he’s been held hostage and punched... http://feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/X2oEOoDOjDg/is-castles-detective-ryan-ready-to-be-a-dad

Castle Return Promo: Not the Man She Thought He Was?

Castle closed out 2012 with a fun Christmas installment, one that undoubtedly left its fans saddened that they have to wait five weeks for the show's return, but such is the case with the December midseason hiatus. Follow the link for our Castle review and discuss Monday's "Secret Santa," then look ahead to the new year with the first promo for Rick and Kate's return. It looks like it could be a bumpy one, given a sudden arrival. Ex-wives have a way of throwing a wrench into a lot of things, especially if they want to crash with you. Hopefully it's just another bump in the road for the two characters who have come so far in the last nine weeks. Check out ABC's first tease of the show's 2013 debut, "Significant Others" ... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2012/12/castle-return-promo-not-the-man-she-thought-he-was/
