"These are burdensome patients that I follow for long periods of time -- we're still kind of treating the rehab patients form last year. We treat them for a good six, nine months. ... These are really sick people. That's why they die."Five patients who have appeared on "Celebrity Rehab" have subsequently died, most recently country singer Mindy McCready earlier this year. 'Celebrity Rehab': Bob Discovers Steven Adler Lied About His Sobriety (VIDEO)

Sex, drugs and rock and roll is an expression almost as old as rock music. For Steven Adler these things may be too interconnected for him to successfully tour with his band and find sobriety, as we saw on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM ET on VH1). When Dr. Drew's Head Counselor, Bob Forrest, stopped in to check on Adler, he was disappointed to find the former Guns N' Roses drummer was still smoking marijuana, and apparently on a daily basis. To emphasis the severity of Adler's addiction, Forrest asked, "Why couldn't you just not smoke pot for a day? That's what I want to point out to you. You knew I was coming here."

Michael Lohan's Last Words to the Old Michael on 'Celebrity Rehab' Finale (VIDEO)

It was time to be discharged back into the regular world on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM ET On VH1). It's a bittersweet day for the patients as they get the excitement of being able to take back the reigns of their lives coupled with the terror of having to take back the reigns of their lives. It was when they were in charge of themselves that they got into the trouble that led them to Dr. Drew and his team in the first place. So as an exercise, they talked to the person they were before entering rehab, hopefully saying goodbye to him or her forever.

Dr. Drew and the staff learned that Starr had died of a drug overdose shortly after getting prescription pain medication. Shelly Sprague broke the news to Adler, who immediately knew what had taken his friend's life.

Michael Lohan Flips Out on Kate Major, Threatens to Leave 'Celebrity Rehab' (VIDEO)

Patients on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sundays, 10PM on VH1) tend to have more than their fair share of rocky relationships. That's especially true of Michael Lohan, who had an explosive blow-up with his ex-fiance Kate Major, who he and Dr. Drew have been trying to convince to enter treatment. The incident started when Lohan appeared in a tabloid report kissing Kim Granatell, better known as Kim G from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' That sent Major, who was on her way to the Pasadena Recovery Center for visiting day, into a fit, which soon escalated into a phone shouting match. Lohan worked himself into a rage while denying that he kissed Kim G., and threatened to leave rehab as he was being told he needed to calm down because of his heart.

Amy Fisher's Husband Threatens Jeremy Jackson After a Bad Joke About Her Past on 'Celebrity Rehab' (VIDEO)

"Family Day" is supposed to be a day of happiness, support and celebration of progress in sobriety on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM ET on VH1). But things quickly spiraled out of control when Jeremy Jackson's sister made a joke in very poor taste. Jackson has become good friends with Amy Fisher in rehab, but his sister didn't make the connection when she first met Fisher, "because you didn't introduce yourself as 'Buttafuoco face shooter'." Now, that's a very harsh thing to say to someone. She has no way of knowing how Fisher is emotionally about what she did, though the fact that she's in rehab says quite a lot about how she's coping with something .

Michael Lohan Threatens to Leave 'Celebrity Rehab' (VIDEO)

Michael Lohan's days on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM ET on VH1) may be numbered. Of course, we'll have to wait until next week to find out if he truly walks off the show, and out of rehab, but how did it get to this? Lohan was looking forward to seeing his ex-fiancée when family came to visit, but the staff members at the facility were concerned because they're pretty certain that she's an addict right now. Thus, seeing Lohan could set his own recovery back. As such, they said that if she came she would also have to sign up for treatment. When Lohan found out about this, he didn't take it well at all. He stormed around, ranting and raving to everyone about the rules and who has to follow them.

Steven Adler Storms Out on 'Celebrity Rehab' (VIDEO)

Steven Adler walked out the door after a tense discussion with Dr. Drew and Amy Fisher on 'Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9PM on VH1). Claiming that Fisher's dishonesty and unwillingness to share with the group was holding everyone back, the former Guns N' Roses drummer charged Fisher with living in denial. "What's wrong with denial?" Drew asked.
