Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a 2005 remake by Tim Burton, based on the children's book of the same name by Roald Dahl. It follows Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore), child of a poor family, who wins a Golden Ticket hidden in a chocolate bar, that allows him to visit Willie Wonka's (Johnny Depp) famous and mysterious chocolate factory, which had been closed to any visitors for years.
