Chii has chosen Hideki as her "One and only", and Freya takes over her body. Mrs Hibiya deletes their programing to Freya's request. Hideki then tells Freya that he loved her and also tells her the meaning of happiness. Freya accepts the fact that Chii has done the thing she couldn't do; and that is to find your "One and only". Freya subsides and disappears where Hideki and Chii live happily ever after.

Chobits (Chobittsu?) is a Japanese manga and anime series created by CLAMP. Unlike most CLAMP stories, Chobits is a seinen series, specifically of the magical girlfriend variety. The manga is set in the same universe as Angelic Layer and takes place a few years after Angelic Layer.
