'Chuck' at Comic-Con: Morgan vs. the Intersect, plus Mark Hamill set to guest-star

The final panel ever for "Chuck" at Comic-Con certainly didn't skimp on the goodies for fans. The show is entering its last season on NBC, so Saturday (July 23) was likely the last chance for the cast to take in the admiration of its most devoted fans. They didn't disappoint, giving the cast and co-creator Chris Fedak a standing ovation at the end. "Chuck's" fans were in turn rewarded with a big piece of news -- Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, is guest-starring in the season premiere -- and the video below, featuring Josh Gomez (and Jeffster!) attempting to get himself in shape for Morgan having the Intersect at the start of Season 5.As for Hamill, Fedak says he'll play a villain in the season premiere, which starts filming next week. 'Chuck': Scott Krinsky on Jeffster!, Comic-Con and the final season

You won't be getting any "Chuck" Season 5 spoilers from Scott Krinsky here: The show doesn't begin filming until next week, and when Zap2it spoke with Krinsky on Monday (July 18) he had received the season's first script just a short time earlier."As if I'd read it, I'd tell you everything," Krinsky jokes.Krinsky and the rest of the "Chuck" team are about to embark on the final season of the series -- as far as anyone knows. "That's the way we're going into it. ... But of course with NBC, you never know what will happen. We could go another five years," he says with a laugh. "But if it is the end, it's nice to go into it -- I think for everyone, and for the fans -- feeling like, 'Wow -- we got five seasons.' That's pretty amazing," he continues. "How this show started, with the writers strike [which cut the first season... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/07/chuck-scott-krinsky-on-jeffster-comic-con-and-the-final-season.html

'Chuck' Star Zachary Levi Talks Nerd HQ: A More Intimate Alternative to Comic-Con

Starting today, thousands of fans, celebrities, industry executives and journalists will make the annual pilgrimage to San Diego for Comic-Con International, a five-day festival of all that is geeky and fantastical. For some, it's a chance to meet their favorite TV and movie stars, for others, it's to test out the latest video games, while plenty go just to get their hands on the newest comics, merchandise and free swag from studios. What they'd all likely agree on, though, is that with over 120,000 attendees, Comic-Con can be more than a little overwhelming. Enter Zachary Levi, star of NBC's 'Chuck' and holder of some indisputable geek credibility. Levi is right alongside Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon in terms of commanding a loyal nerd army, eager to follow him from project to project. Having experienced Comic-Con as both an entertainer and a fan, Levi found himself wondering if he could do something to improve the San Diego experience for the people it was supposedly designed for -- to allow fans and the people that they're fans of to interact in a more intimate, low-key setting, while still enjoying the same mecca of merchandise, video games and comic books they've come to know and love from Comic-Con. Thus, the Nerd HQ was born -- viva la Nerdolution! http://www.aoltv.com/2011/07/20/zachary-levi-interview-comic-con-nerd-hq/

Chuck Final Season Scoop: Morgan and Chuck's New "Intersect"ion and a Possible Casey Romance?

No amount of five-dollar footlongs will extend Chuck beyond its final, 13-episode season this fall. But series co-creator Chris Fedak tells TVGuide.com that knowing this is the end gives them the opportunity to wrap up its stories in a satisfying way for their loyal, sandwich-filled fans. At the end of Season 4, we saw Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) finally tie the knot, purchase the Buy More and start their own freelance spy agency. Meanwhile, pal Morgan (Joshua Gomez) got a surprise when he slid on some shades meant for Chuck and accidentally uploaded the Intersect. "You have the skeleton of a new show," Fedak says. So, what's next? Will Chuck and Co. get a happy ending? Read on: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Chuck-Final-Season-1035473.aspx?rss=breakingnews
