Chuck Boss: Rebecca Romijn's Sexy-Scary Character Was Supposed to Be a Man

Chuck is sending in Rebecca Romijn to do a man's job. "We created a character originally that was just going to be a man, sort of an ominous, scary figure who has a penchant for torture, which he considers his art form," co-creator Chris Fedak says of the former supermodel's guest role on Friday's episode (8/7c, NBC), "Chuck Versus the Curse." "But then we started thinking about it, we were like, 'What if Rebecca Romijn was this guy? That would be scary and sexy.'" http://www.tvguide.com/News/Chuck-Rebecca-Romijn-1040888.aspx?rss=breakingnews

'Chuck' confronts the Bartowski Curse; Morgan confronts Rebecca Romijn

"Chuck" ended its last episode with the principals of Carmichael Industries on the run, and a life in hiding is not sitting well with at least one member of the team.In the clip above from Friday's (Dec. 16) episode, "Chuck vs. the Curse," Chuck (Zachary Levi) thinks that the fact that he had to leave people behind in order to protect them is the latest instance of a family curse. It probably doesn't help that he's in an isolated cabin, the way his dad was for many years.Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) assures Chuck that he's not cursed, but they then hit a wall in trying to figure out who's really behind the vendetta against him.Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) seems to have mended things with Alex (Mekenna Melvin) -- or at least managed to get her talking to him again -- when he comes face to face (more or less; height joke!) with the latest CIA agent... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/chuck-confronts-the-bartowski-curse-morgan-confronts-rebecca-romijn.html

Chuck: Scott Krinsky Expounds on Evolution of Jeff Barnes

There have been many highlights in the early part of Chuck 's fifth and final season. One of my personal favorites was seeing an almost normal Jeffrey Barnes after he stopped breathing in the fumes from his van during his nightly sleep. Apparently I'm not the only one. Scott Krinsky has enjoyed the change in his character, telling me over the phone: "I think it's great that [Jeff] finally gets to have a little growth. We get to see another side of him that we really haven't seen before." Read More... http://www.tvfanatic.com/2011/12/chuck-exclusive-scott-krinsky-expounds-on-evolution-of-jeff-barn/

'Chuck' lets it all hang out for Zachary Levi's third directorial effort

Zachary Levi directed Friday's (Dec. 9) episode of "Chuck," marking his third time behind the camera on the series. And for at least part of the episode, he did both his directing and acting jobs without any pants on.The episode, "Chuck vs. the Hack-Off," has Chuck (Levi) and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) infiltrating a cult in search of the creator of a nasty computer virus (guest star Eric Lange of "Lost"). Upon arrival, they discover that the commune's members aren't that into wearing clothes -- and when they do, their taste runs to very short tunics."It's very hippie-dippy on the set of 'Chuck' -- everyone's free-flowing," Strahovski said with a smile as Zap2it observed filming of the episode in September. "Zac's little dress is particularly short. We hope he's wearing underwear." (He was.)The episode will also bring Gertrude Verbanski (Carrie-Anne Moss) back into the picture. She's after the same thing Chuck and Sarah are, but her... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/chuck-lets-it-all-hang-out-for-zachary-levis-third-directorial-effort.html

'Chuck' pics: Danny Pudi joins the Nerd Herd, Lester in lockup

Danny Pudi's secret role on "Chuck" is no longer so secret. NBC has released a couple pictures of the "Community" star's guest role in Friday's (Dec. 9) episode, and as you can see by the uniform, he's playing a member of the Nerd Herd. And he's apparently pretty chummy with Morgan (Joshua Gomez) and the still-sober, hair-in-place Jeff (Scott Krinsky).Missing from that picture, of course, is the Buy More's other full-time Nerd Herder, Lester (Vik Sahay). Jeff had him arrested at the end of "Chuck vs. the Business Trip," and he's still in the custody -- although judging by the array of wires in the background, it looks more like he's incarcerated in the Buy More storage cage than in an actual jail cell.We have to think that Pudi's character being at the store has something to do with Lester being indisposed -- and we also have to think that if and when Lester finds... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/12/chuck-pics-danny-pudi-joins-the-nerd-herd-lester-in-lockup.html
