Greendale Community College is a very special kind of educational establishment, catering to the drop-outs, the rejects, the elderly and even those who like to forge their qualifications. It's also one of the most entertaining places to spend 30 minutes of your time on a Thursday evening, even up against such ratings heavy-hitters as CBS' 'The Big Bang Theory' and Fox's 'Bones'. Perhaps you've never seen an episode of NBC's 'Community,' now in its second season (quite likely, since the show is criminally underrated), but if you only watch one Halloween episode this year, you should make it this one -- it's even on at a special time, 8.30PM ET, so you don't have to choose between those geniuses on CBS and the ... different type of geniuses that populate 'Community'. Besides, this episode has zombies, and Ken Jeong in skintight Spandex; what more could you ask for from a TV show? To Read More Click Here.

Community's brand of ambitious, off-the-wall comedy has put the members of Greendale's study group in a fierce paintball competition and sent them to simulated space. But it was Season 1's Halloween episode that first showed the cast what the show was capable of doing. "That was sort of the first inkling to me of the madness that was ahead, so I think it's nice to come back to Halloween this year," Gillian Jacobs told reporters on the set during the filming of this year's Halloween special. "We've upped the ante from last year." This year, Greendale Community College is invaded by zombies when a bio-hazardous substance infects the entire student body. Community creator Dan Harmon and the cast fill us in on five things you need to know for Thursday's episode. To Read More Click Here.
The Halloween episode of Community will be airing on October 28 and NBC has released six sneak peeks, which you can view below. INFECTION SPREADS AT GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE CAUSING A WALKING NIGHTMARE Pierce (Chevy Chase) and a few other Greendale students ingest a biohazard substance at the school Halloween Party, causing them to exhibit flu-like symptoms and begin turning into zombies. Last week's highly successful live episode of "30 Rock" has got everyone buzzing about the possibility of live broadcast sitcoms, so when Zap2it caught up with fellow NBC comedienne Alison Brie at the 2010 Scream awards, we had to find out how a live episode of "Community" might go over. There was very little hesitation when we asked her who would be the first cast member to flub a line. "Oh, Chevy Chase," she says. "Chevy's so great, but he may or may not mess up the most." Of course, she's not taking into account his long and storied "Saturday Night Live" career. To Read More Click Here.

Community creator Dan Harmon knows that "Modern Warfare," Season 1's action-movie-spoofing paintball episode set a new standard for the show, and he's not daunted by trying to top it. "The camera doesn't necessarily have to stay on campus this season," Harmon tells TVGuide.com. And in Thursday's episode (8/7c on NBC), it won't, as Greendale's study group goes to outer space - sort of. Facing stiff competition from a rival community college that is about to launch a simulated space program, Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) forces the study group to pre-emptively stage Greendale's own space simulation. Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) take the lead in a satire of Apollo 13 and other space movies when the simulator is towed away with everyone but Abed locked inside. The second season of NBC's under-the-radar sitcom may not be making a Big Bang in the ratings, but you can't deny it's explosively funny. The show has perfected the formula of well-chosen guest stars (Daily Show vets Rob Corddry and John Oliver, alt-comedy god Patton Oswalt, and, yes, Betty White, who's better in small doses like this week's cameo); snappy, pop-reference-rich dialogue; physical shtick from the masterful likes of Chevy Chase and Ken Jeong; and unexpected moments of M*A*S*H/Scrubs-esque sincerity. This week's episode, "The Psychology of Letting Go," worked in meaningful ruminations on life, death and religion as Chase's Pierce refused to accept his mom's demise, sparking a debate among his study-group pals, including card-carrying skeptic Jeff (Joel McHale) and deeply devout Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown). Just when the show threatens to get too serious, like with a subplot about raising money for victims of the Gulf spill, an oil-wrestling match breaks out between Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Annie (Alison Brie). And next week's episode, an ambitious spoof of Apollo 13, promises to be out-of-this-world. Source Here
