Community Season Finale Moved to May Sweeps

Six seasons a movie? How about three new episodes in one night? According to The Futon Critic, NBC has moved the hour-long season finale of Community (really just back-to-back installments) to May 17... the same evening it had already planned on running a new Community at 8 p.m, meaning the schedule that evening will look like this: 8 p.m. Community - “The First Chang Dynasty” 8:30 p.m. 30 Rock (season finale) 9 p.m. Community - “Introduction to Finality” 9:30 p.m. Community - “Digital Estate Planning” (season finale) As for what you can expect from these Community episodes , read on for their official descriptions: The First Chang Dynasty With Chang in control of Greendale, the study group develops an elaborate plan to infiltrate the campus without being detected. While Chang becomes distracted planning a big birthday bash for himself, Jeff and the study group launch their sneak attack. Meanwhile, Troy enlists the help of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex to help with their break-in plan but knows he may be selling his soul to the devil. Introduction to Finality When Shirley and Pierce have a disagreement over their sandwich shop, Jeff agrees to argue on Shirley's behalf but much to his chagrin, Pierce retains Jeff's former colleague Alan Connor (guest star Rob Corddry) and the two must square off in "Greendale Summer Fun Court." Meanwhile, Vice Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) makes one last ditch effort to win Troy over to his Air Conditioning Repair Annex. Digital Estate Planning Pierce is summoned to Hawthorne Enterprises to discuss his inheritance with his deceased father's former right-hand man, Gilbert Lawson (guest star Giancarlo Esposito ) The study group goes with him for moral support and must all pitch in to play the video game of their life on Pierce's behalf - or risk losing his inheritance

'Community' Does 'Law & Order': Who Died?

It was doink doink time on " Community " (Thu., 8 p.m. ET on NBC) Thursday night. The comedy paid tribute to the late lamented " Law & Order " and its creator Dick Wolf with an episode titled "Basic Lupine Urology." Abed ( Danny Pudi ) and Troy ( Donald Glover ) played the detectives investigating a sabotaged biology project at Greendale Community College. "Law & Order" alum Michael K. Williams guest-starred as Professor Marshall Kane who was tasked with revealing that a fan favorite character had been killed. “Star-Burns got rear-ended and the meth lab in his trunk exploded," he said. 'Community' 'Law & Order' episode: Who smushed the yam?

The April 26 episode of "Community" is the much anticipated "Law & Order" episode and it is the best of the season so far. The cast has been talking about it for weeks now, saying that it's their favorite. It's easy to see why.The opening alone is just about perfect, the title being split into "Comm" and "Unity" and featuring shots of the cast in the "L&O" style. The episode is light on Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Pierce (Chevy Chase), but their moments are hysterical. This week, a yam experiment goes wrong and the gang must discover who sabotaged their class project. 'Community' Season 4: Joel McHale expects Chevy Chase to return
