Cote de Pablo (born Maria Josa de Pablo Ferna¡ndez on November 12, 1979), is a Chilean American actress, raised in and currently residing in USA.

Early life De Pablo, was born in Santiago, Chile to an upper class Catholic family. When Cote was ten, her mother received a job in Miami, Florida at a Spanish-speaking television network. There de Pablo attended Arvida Middle School and then Carnegie Mellon University where she studied music theater, and appeared in "The House of Bernarda Alba", "Cloud Techtonics", "Indiscretions", "The Fantasticks", "And The World Goes Round", and "A Little Night Music." She then graduated in 2000.

She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she spends her free time writing and performing original music.

Television De Pablo is best known for her role on the CBS drama NCIS as Ziva David, where she plays a Mossad Liaison Officer. De Pablo describes the character as someone completely different from anyone else on the show because 'she's been around men all her life; she's used to men in authority. She's not afraid of men.'

She is also known for hosting the show "Control", from 1994-95 alongside Entertainment Tonight former host Carlos Ponce.

She played the role of Marguerite Cisneros in "The Jury" (broadcast on the Fox Network). The show was short lived, only screening 10 1-hour episodes.

Awards and nominations 2006 - Won an Imagen Award at the Imagen Foundation Awards for Best Supporting Actress in Television for NCIS (2003). 2008 - Nominated for an ALMA Award at the ALMA Awards for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Television Series for NCIS (2003).
