"When I got out of rehab and stopped using drugs, I replaced drugs with food. I was emotionally eating and hated the way I looked, but I couldn't mask my self-loathing with pills any more." Another little nugget of awesome dropped in our laps courtesy of the social media site this afternoon, when host of ABC's Dancing With The Stars , Tom Bergeron, proposed a casting choice for the upcoming season...one with network "synergy written all over it." If Bergeron gets his way, Julie Benz star of ABC's No Ordinary Family would speed-race her way across the dance floor this spring. And based on Benz's response, she'd be all over the opportunity like sparkle on a sequin. Here's the transcript of their brief exchange: To Read More Click Here.
'Dancing With the Stars' may not be looking to feature a same-sex couple in season 11 next spring after one big star -- actress Portia de Rossi, wife of Ellen DeGeneres -- reportedly declined to be the show's guinea pig According to PopEater's Rob Shuter, because 'Arrested Development' star de Rossi (who goes by Portia DeGeneres now) rejected the offer, the megahit reality series will wait on breaking the same-sex dancing barrier. "If Portia had agreed then this would have been a done deal," an ABC insider told Shuter. "She was the only star that could have pulled this off without completely offending the program's conservative viewers." The Israeli version of 'Dancing With the Stars' garnered worldwide publicity for casting a same-sex dancing pair. To Read More Click Here.

"Don't know where these bizarre rumors about me doing DWTS started," she wrote, "but absolutely never." Well that settles it. (For what it's worth, Meghan was very outspoken about Bristol Palin's appearance on the show.) To Read More Click Here.
Newly crowned Dancing with the Stars champ Jennifer Grey will soon undergo surgery for a disc she ruptured in her back during competition. "I'm probably going to have surgery this week or sometime next week," the 50-year-old actress told Access Hollywood. Grey downplayed the seriousness of the operation. "It's just going to be like a little surgery where they take out the ruptured disc thing," she said. "Compared to the other surgeries I had on my neck, my doctor says it won't be a big deal." The Dirty Dancing star had extensive surgery on her neck after she was in a car crash with then-boyfriend (and Ferris Bueller co-star) Matthew Broderick in 1987. She suffered severe whiplash from the accident and now has a steel plate in her neck. To Read More Click Here.
Is Dancing with the Stars trying to keep it all in the Palin family? After Bristol Palin's much-talked-about and improbable run to the Season 11 finale, ABC is eyeing her dad, Todd, for next season, according to E! Online. "They want him big time. They'd love Sarah, but they don't think that will ever happen, so why not go for the dad," a source told the site, adding that producers think he'd be "ratings gold." This would be the second time the show has pursued Todd. According to his wife, producers originally wanted Todd on Season 11, but he turned it down, prompting them to ask Bristol. It's been a week since Jennifer Grey won the Mirror Ball trophy on Dancing with the Stars, so how does she feel now? Not great, actually. Well, at least physically. "I have this nerve that is squeezed between the bones in my foot called a neuroma that's gotta be dealt with. I got tendonitis in my left knee when I was doing the Argentine Tango, all the deep squats and lunges," she told Extra at the opening of Disney Times Square. But the big surprise is that Jennifer almost wasn't able to compete in the finale. "The night before, when I did the freestyle, I ruptured a disc in my back. I went to the hospital the morning of the last show, and they gave me a shot of cortisone to get me through it — that should last a couple weeks. I'm about a week into that shot... I think I'm going home to do surgery this week to take care of that. Pain has become my friend." Ouch! To Read More Click Here.
