Dancing with the Stars boots two more couples! Did Kirstie overcome her 20-point deficit? Find out who made the semifinals and what new dances we'll see next week.

‘Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars’: Who Was Voted Off?

Gilles Marini was pegged by many as the winner going into the all-star season, especially because he lost to Shawn Johnson by less than 1% in the spring of 2009. Many thought he should have won the Mirror Ball then. But magic didn’t strike twice, and he and partner Peta Murgatroyd were one of the two eliminated couples on Tuesday’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

DWTS All-Stars: Who Is Dancing to What Crazy Style and Theme on the Semifinals?

Just when you think things can’t get weirder! On Monday’s Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Week 8 Performance Show, Tom Bergeron said the Week 9 Semifinals would feature dances performed to music of Michael Jackson's Bad album. But we’re in two (or even three?) dance territory, and on Tuesday’s Week 8 Results Show, they did another competitors’ choice twist, with the then-six remaining couples getting assigned funky new dance styles that were already paired with...

Dancing With the Stars: Co-Stars Rally Around Brooke Burke-Charvet After Cancer Diagnosis

Dancing With the Star: All Stars host Brooke Burke-Charvet entered the ballroom Monday night on Tom Bergeron's arm, then walked over to Carrie Ann Inaba, who was seated at the judges' table. As the studio audience clapped, the two exchanged a prolonged, wordless hug. But after that, you would never have known that Burke-Charvet, 41, had revealed in a blog post last week that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and is facing life-saving surgery. There's no word yet on when and where the surgery will take place, but ABC confirms that she will continue to co-host the show through the finale, which airs the last week of November. Says one rep, "She'll probably release more videos, in her own time, to explain what's going on."

'Dancing With The Stars' Salutes Veterans While Melissa Rycroft Shows Perfection

'Dancing With the Stars' backstage: Cheryl Burke and Melissa Rycroft dish on 'The Bachelorette' rumors

"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" pro dancer Cheryl Burke hasn't given up on her dream of dispensing roses to eligible bachelors as the next star of "The Bachelorette." After she and celebrity partner Emmitt Smith nailed their first perfect score of the season, Burke confirmed backstage that she is in talks with ABC about starring in the reality dating show. "I did meet with the execs," she said. "We'll see what happens in the future. It's not a firm offer -- there hasn't been an offer -- but if they offer it to me I'd love to do it." Fortunately, firsthand advice about the show is just a quickstep away: celebrity contestant Melissa Rycroft, who both won and lost the heart of "The Bachelor" star Jason Mesnick in her infamous season. Cheryl "would be phenomenal in this role," Rycroft said backstage after Monday's (Nov. 12) performance show. "But everyone is very possessive of their Cheryl...

'Dancing With the Stars' backstage: Shawn and Derek fire back at Len, 'We're doing something right'

"Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars" judge Len Goodman drew the ire of fans after his harsh critique of Shawn Johnson's spirited samba with partner Derek Hough and Mark Ballas Monday night (Nov. 12). Backstage after the show, we caught up with the dancers for their reactions to Len's smackdown and shockingly low score (a 7, compared to a 9 and 10 from the other judges). "So far this season, the lower the score from Len, the better we're doing, [so] we're doing something right," laughed Derek, who stands by his choreography. "This has been a dedication to all the loyal fans of 'Dancing With the Stars' who've seen [thousands of] sambas and cha-chas. I feel it's my responsibility as a choreographer to say, 'How am I going to keep them entertained? How am I going to keep them watching?' "To be honest with you, I just wanted to see this girl [Shawn] get tribal. Should...

DWTS All-Stars: 7?! Was Len Too Harsh With Shawn, Derek, and Mark’s Week 8 Trio Samba?

Tribal Trio trouble! You can’t say Shawn Johnson, Derek Hough, and Mark Ballas didn’t create a very wild and memorable Trio Dance on the Dancing With the Stars All-Stars Week 8 Performance Show. Raw, sexy, shirtless and high impact. The judges all agreed it was a powerful dance. But the question at hand: Was it enough of a Samba? Len Goodman said if he was sitting in the audience he’d be cheering along with the ecstatic crowd, but he’s a judge and he has to judge a...
