Darfur Now (Six Stories, one hope) is a documentary film examining the genocide in Darfur. It is written and directed by Ted Braun and narrated by Don Cheadle. The film is a call to action for people all over the world to help the ongoing crisis in Darfur. Darfur Now was shown at the 2007 Toronto International Film Festival. The film was released in the United States and Canada on November 2, 2007. A story of hope in the midst of one of humanitys darkest hours - a call to action for people everywhere to end the catastrophe unfolding in Darfur, Sudan. In this documentary, the struggles and achievements of six different individuals from inside Darfur and around the world bring to light the tragedy in Sudan and show how the actions of one person can make a difference to millions.
