Okay so some of you are still unsure as to the fate of DG, the quick answer is NO it is not canceled. The problem is that ABC still haven't found a permanent slot to put them in. That is the reason for episodes turning up late.

Defying Gravity Summary
In the near future, eight astronauts from five countries (four women and four men) undertake a mysterious six-year international space mission covering thirteen billion kilometres. With the eyes of the world upon them - everything they do is monitored, and every emotion they feel, scrutinized - they soon discover that their real assignment is not at all what they thought. The first 8 episodes of Defying Gravity aired on both ABC (in the US) and CTV (in Canada). The remaining 5 episodes have been airing on the SPACE channel in Canada; ABC currently does not have the remaining 5 episodes scheduled to air.
