"The Following" may have found itself a junior bad. Sam Underwood will join the dark series for Season 3 as Luke, Fox told TheWrap . The character is described as "a very complicated and dangerous young man." Though it sounds like he would be a follower of Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), producers are staying mum as to whether he is a devotee. The family theme of the final season of "Dexter" keeps plugging along, as Dexter bonds with his real son and finds himself a surrogate son, one with whom he can share the dark passenger. So, Zach Hamilton killed Norma Rivera and is the type of young psychopath in whom Dr. Vogel sees potential to be another Dexter. At first, Dexter balks because Zach killed an innocent, but Zach's table-side (table-on?) confession about caring for his mother (since his dad's affairs are causing her to drink herself to death) and also the dark urges he can't control convinces Dexter he can adopt Zach as a mentor (son, intern, what have you). (Though PS -- if Zach gets jealous of Dexter's real son and tries, or succeeds, to hurt Harrison, we immediately renounce him and hope Dexter kills him slowly and painfully.)And as Dexter is finding another familial addition to his darker side, his relationship with Deb is... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/08/dexter-season-8-episode-6-a-little-reflection-its-all-about-family.html

A former Dexter creeper is paying a visit to Hart of Dixie's Bluebell. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the CW medical drama has recruited actor Josh Cooke for a recurring role in Hart of Dixie's upcoming third season. Cooke, who you may recognize as Jamie Batista's Dexter-obsessed cheater of a boyfriend from seasons 6 and 7, will make his Hart of Dixie debut in the season 3 premiere this fall. He'll play Joel, a New York City native who finds himself feeling like a fish out of water when he ends up in Bluebell. Sounds like he'll have a lot of in common with Zoe! Don't miss Hart of Dixie season 3 when it premieres on October 7th on The CW, and stick with us at Celebified for more TV scoop.
This week's Dexter featured an egregious TV moment, one that shook my belief in the show — which has already waned to a tiny fraction of what it once was. (Don't worry, this does not contain meaningful spoilers.) Charlotte Rampling's Dr. Vogel was in her home, preparing to relax or whatever, and she put on some music: "Make Your Own Kind of Music," sung by Mama Cass. No! Not allowed! "Make Your Own Kind of Music" is way, way too deeply tied to Lost , which used the song to marvelous effect starting with season two's premiere, "Man of Science, Man of Faith." Remember, when Desmond was puttering around the hatch, listening to it? I remember. (Remember how excited you were for the second season premiere of Lost ? I remember that, too. Christ, I loved that show.) Read More... http://www.vulture.com/2013/07/iconic-songs-tv-shows.html

Dexter learns Dr. Vogel's tie with Zack, whom he has been tailing, and she surprises the title character by asking him to teach Zack the code. http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00062677.html
"Dexter's" final season just took an interesting twist in "This Little Piggy," one we can't wait to see play out over the final seven episodes. Don't keep reading if you haven't watched the episode yet. The Brain Surgeon story arc has come to an end, courtesy of Yates kidnapping Dr. Vogel and Dexter and Deb subsequently saving her and Dexter killing Yates in the process -- which Deb is totally cool with. Correct us if we're misinterpreting, but Deb seems to be starting to regard Evelyn as her own mother figure, just like Dexter has been. We were actually thinking of them as a little (psychopath) family before the episode even ended with them on Dexter's boat and him saying he wanted to be with "family." It's too early in the season to think Evelyn and her children (and grandchild!) will sail off into the sunset, working together to dispatch bad guys, so we wonder... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/07/dexter-season-8-episode-5-this-little-piggy-the-family-that-kills-together.html
At at recent Comic Con panel, Dexter star Jennifer Carpenter dropped some rather surprising news. As much as some people want their shows to end with them being heroes, it seems Jennifer has different plans for Dexter's sis, Deb. In typically cryptic fashion, fitting with the shows themes perfectly, she stated she has some rather dark wishes for her character's finale. She wants her to die. Though her reasons might surprise you. READ MORE...
