Although the Fifth Doctor manages to get Tegan back to Heathrow as per his promise, the TARDIS arrives in 1666, several hundreds of years prior to the building of the airport. When villagers attack the Doctor and his companions, the curious Time Lord knows he must find out what's going on. Soon, they discover that in this sleepy country village, all is not what it seems. Villainous creatures known as Terileptils are hatching an evil plan and the Doctor and his friends must stop them before the whole village is wiped out.
