A significant part of the action, including game play, is shot at The New Den, the home ground of the Football League One club Millwall.

The series has completed its 10th and final season (as of June 3rd 2007). But the story continues online at Harchester.tv Although the show has had a long and successful run, its viewing figures declined in recent seasons which prompted the cancellation of the show in April 2006.

The club is based in the fictional town of Harchester (which is said to be close to Tamworth) in the West Midlands. The most popular stars of the show, through the years, are Alison King who plays Lynda Block and Terry Kiely who played Karl Fletcher.
