0 commentsI would tell someone to check it out for sure...but I think it got a little predictable and rushed towards the later middile to end...like when one starts working on something and its going pretty smooth and they rush it a long to get it done towa...

Hasn't fully recovered from attempted suicide.
In my opinion, I wouldn't say Owen Wilson has fully recovered from his attempted suicide. The film was in fact pretty good, but there could have definitely been a better actor for the roll of Drillbit Taylor.
I rate it 7/10 and recommend regular mo...

Ryan, Wade and Emmit attend their first day at high school and they're pumped... until they meet up with Filkins, a school bully who comes off like a little Hannibal Lecter. Before they become completely engulfed in Filkins' reign of terror, they seek out some protection by placing an ad in soldier of fortune magazine. Their best response - and the cheapest - comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), a down-on-his luck soldier of fortune who lives a homeless - he likes to say "home free" - existence on the beach. He enrolls them in some physical and mental training... They will soon find out just how deceptive appearances can be in this comedy based on a story by John Hughes, and featuring a script by Seth Rogen and Kristofor Brown.

Drillbit Taylor Premiere: March 21, 2008. Drillbit Taylor is a 2008 comedy film starring Owen Wilson and based on an original idea by John Hughes. The story revolves around three high school freshmen (Troy Gentile, Nate Hartley, and David Dorfman), who are singled out by school bully Filkins (Alex Frost) on the first day of class. They place an ad in Soldier of Fortune and hire Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson) to protect them. Paramount Pictures released the film on March 21, 2008. The film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA for crude sexual references throughout, strong bullying, language, drug references, and partial nudity.
