Erica Durance poster

Erica Durance

Born in Three Hills, Alberta, Erica Durance is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada who first made an impression on television viewers by following in the footsteps of actress Margot Kidder with her portrayal of intrepid Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane on the popular Superman series Smallville. Appearances on such popular sci-fi television series as Tru Calling, Stargate SG-1, and Andromeda served well to help the rising star solidify her genre credibility while successfully avoiding typecasting, and while early feature film appearances in Sasquatch and House of the Dead may have done little to advance her career on the big screen, headlining appearances in The Butterfly Effect 2 and the made-for-cable thriller Stranded proved that Durance was ready and willing to take the kind of risks that could send her career soaring to the next level.
