Jack and Beverly Face Off Over Allison's Strange Behavior on 'Eureka' (VIDEO)

Sometimes when your friends act a little weird, you can chalk it up to a bad day, or maybe some bad news, or the rain. Or perhaps neural implants that keep her under the control of a psychiatrist working for a shadow organization looking to harness your laboratory's technology for evil. The latter happened on 'Eureka' (Mondays, 8PM on Syfy), when Jack suspected things weren't quite right with Allison. Jack found out that Beverly, the psychiatrist in question, was the one responsible for his girlfriend's strange behavior. He locked her in a cell and asked what she'd done, but Beverly was clever and prepared, and with a click of her little keychain device, she sent the whole town into a temporary coma. http://www.aoltv.com/2011/08/09/eureka-jack-beverly-allisons-strange-behavior-video/

'Eureka' Canceled: Syfy Reverses Its Decision on Season 6 Renewal

In a move that will definitely have some fans peeved and others just confused, a Syfy spokesperson confirms to  The Hollywood Reporter  that it has pulled its recent six-episode Season 6 renewal. After last Thursday’s network announcement of a sixth season, Syfy issued the following statement on Monday, as first reported byEW. "After painstaking consideration, we have had to make the difficult business decision to not order a season six of Eureka. But Eureka is not over yet. The 2012 episodes are some of the best we’ve seen, and will bring this great series to a satisfying end. We are very grateful to Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia, their team of incredible writers, and an amazing cast and crew who have consistently delivered a series we continue to be very proud of. We thank the fans for their support of this show and know they will enjoy its final season in 2012." 'Eureka': Syfy orders possibly final six-episode Season 6

"Eureka" might soon close its doors for good. A Syfy rep confirms to Zap2it that the network has ordered a six-episode sixth season to the series, and, beyond that, its future is optimistically uncertain. "Bruce Miller and Jaime Paglia have brought a creative vitality to 'Eureka' that has kept it fresh and inventive," says Syfy president of original content Mark Stern, referring to the co-creators. "Although we do not have a commitment beyond six episodes for the sixth season, we are hopeful that this will not be the end of the franchise." Previously, Deadline reported the series, about the quiet Oregon town populated almost entirely by geniuses and scientists, would end after the additional order. Currently airing its fourth season, "Eureka" is already filming the 13-episode Season 5, with production on Season 6 expected to begin this fall. If this is the end, will you be sad to see "Eureka" go or do you... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/08/eureka-syfy-orders-possibly-final-six-episode-season-6.html

Eureka turns up the comedy with the ultimate bank robbery [Tv Recap]

Last night's  Eureka  was one of the funniest episodes in a while — Carter is forced to endure disappearing banks, floating jeeps, obnoxious geniuses, and, most terrifyingly, out-of-shape physicists. And somewhere, amid all the hijinks, an evil plot is brewing. Spoilers ahead... For one wonderful, glorious moment, Carter thinks it's his lucky day - he gets to investigate a bank robbery! Much to his displeasure, it turns out this isn't a typical bank robbery: the entire bank has mysteriously vanished. His investigations ultimately reveal that the bank wasn't stolen. Instead, it's levitating high in the air, thanks to a newly deposited Higgs field disruptor negating its mass... and, if Carter doesn't stop it, the mass of everything in Eureka. While Carter grows increasingly aggravated with the town's super-science wackiness, the rest of the cast is busy prepping for the Astraeus mission to Titan, which this week means some harsh physical training at the hands of Lupo. But it's Allison who has the most to deal with - she's losing time and doing things she has no memory of, all under the secret control of Eureka's arch-nemesis Beverly Barlowe.
