More Information

"Evolution of Dance" is the finale to Laipply's show called "Inspirational Comedy". His website describes the show as "combining his thoughts about life and change with humor". In 2002, he began closing many of his college, high school and corporate appearances with his unusual dance medley. It soon became a "crowd favorite". Judson discusses the development of the dance and how the success with YouTube came to be in his exclusive video interviews available at

In the video, Laipply dances to a soundtrack that plays through various popular songs ranging from Elvis Presley to MC Hammer and Michael Jackson. During its initial rise in popularity, it amassed over 10 million views in under two weeks and was featured on CNN, MSN, E!, USA Today, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and AOL. As of August, 2007, the number of views on YouTube.com is greater than 55 million, easily the most viewed video on the site.. A recent revision of the dance is three minutes longer including songs such as "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira, but no public video of it currently exists. This is a prelude to "Evolution II" or "Evolution of Dance Revisited", which Judson is currently working on and currently taking suggestions for
