    freakin' sweet

    I first saw this on Adult Swim when it premiered and was hooked on the first episode. It seems not to make sense but if you watch it through it does- but then it doesn't. Too bad there are only 6 episodes. Watch it because I said so. :)

The series focuses on Nandaba Naota, a twelve-year-old boy living in the fictional and initially tranquil Japanese suburb of Mabase. Naota lives with his lecherous, perverted father Kamon and his baseball-coaching grandfather Shigekuni at the family bakery and home. He greatly admires his older brother Tasuku (an unseen character), a baseball phenomenon who has gone to the United States to play the game.
