Summary
First Sunday Premiere: January 11, 2008. First Sunday is a 2008 American comedy film directed, written, and produced by David E. Talbert. The film stars Ice Cube as Durell and Tracy Morgan as LeeJohn, who are best friends and bumbling petty criminals. When told they have one week to pay a $17,000 debt or Durell will lose his son, they come up with a desperate scheme to rob their neighborhood church(which they are participating in due to the choice of jail time or community service although it is 5,000 hours). Instead, they end up spending the night in the presence of the Lord and are forced to deal with much more than they bargained for. It is set to be released January 11, 2008, in America, and throughout Europe in April 2008.
