'Flipping Out' Star Jeff Lewis Sues Co-Star Over Possible Book Revelations

The reality star is worried his assistant is breaching a confidentiality agreement, so he's going to public court for redress.

'Flipping Out': Jeff's New Trust-Fund-Baby Assistant

" Flipping Out " returned for a sixth season with Jeff Lewis and his newest assistant, Andrew. Andrew is a trust-fund baby who's only working for Jeff because he has to hold down a full-time job up to a certain age in order to get that monthly check. Or, as Jeff sees it, Andrew needs him more than he needs Andrew. "I’m not saying I’m going to take advantage of the situation, but," Jeff mused. "I’m going to take advantage of the situation." For some reason, Andrew was incredibly antsy and filled with anxious energy throughout the episode, leading SheKnows to believe he may be hiding something. Was it just nerves, or is there something more to him? Either way, his antics brought a new energy -- as well as pratfalls -- to the show. Apparently, Andrew is a bit clumsy when he's nervous or anxious, and he's always nervous or anxious, so that should prove eventful. Tune in to "Flipping Out" every Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Jeff is Faced With a Tough Decision on 'Flipping Out' (VIDEO)

Betrayal is always bitter pill to swallow, but it hurts far more when it comes from the people we trust the most, as Jeff found out on this week's 'Flipping Out' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo). When it seemed as though Trace wasn't taking the job as seriously as he used to, Jeff took it upon himself to check his employee's computer, and he didn't like what he found there.

Jeff Lewis Has to Let His Sister-in-Law Go on 'Flipping Out' (VIDEO)

It's always difficult mixing business with family, but Jeff Lewis was excited to bring on his sister-in-law Sarah Berkman on 'Flipping Out' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo). However, after two years it's proving to not be a great fit for either of them. It didn't help that Lewis' boyfriend was urging him to let Berkman go. While she doesn't prove to be grossly incompetent at her job, she remains inadequate in a myriad of little ways regularly enough that it just isn't acceptable after all that time. "I sense that you've been unhappy and stressed, and I know that you go home sometimes really upset," Lewis told Berkman. "And I think it's created a strain on the family."

Jeff Lewis Critiques Natalie Morales's and Savannah Guthrie's Clashing Patterns (VIDEO)

Jeff Lewis decorates homes with an eye toward reselling on Bravo's 'Flipping Out.' Wednesday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC), Natalie Morales and Savannah Guthrie asked Lewis to critique how well their dresses matched, and the three of them took turns taking joking offense at each other. Lewis said he was upset at Morales for not watching the last season of 'Flipping Out,' noting that some critics have called his show "the best show you're not watching." "Just because I haven't been returning your phone calls doesn't mean you can't watch," he said. Then Guthrie asked Lewis to put his fashion sense to use, asking him if two print dresses together on one couch offended his "obsessive-compulsive eye." "I actually don't mind mixing patterns, there's a lot going on here," he told them. If Morales lost the yellow sweater, he thought it might work better. "You've got a great bra on today, by the way," he said to her. "You look great."

Jeff Lewis Flips Out When Two Members of His Staff Are Late to Work (VIDEO)

When they came up with the title for 'Flipping Out' (Tue., 9PM ET on Bravo), it was a play on words for Jeff Lewis's house-flipping projects, which dominated the first season. It also may have been a reflection on his volatile personality. As the show has shifted more toward his design work, the title is mostly now about his breakdowns. This week, his pot began to boil when Zoila arrived late for work, and failed to get the mail. He screamed at her, ignoring her excuses about traffic. "Let me explain LA. There's traffic every f****** day of the week!"

Has Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis Finally Calmed Down?

So if the show is called Flipping Out , one would imagine there would be, you know, some flipping out, right? At least maybe a few rage-fueled screaming matches like in seasons past? Apparently not so much anymore. At least that was the case during last night's fifth-season premiere, which seemed to be all about the softer side of Jeff Lewis. And truth be told, that's OK with us. Especially if it means that the former...
