Glee Season 3 Spoilers From Episode 6, “Mash Off” — Santana Gets Brutally Outed!

If you don’t wanna join in on the spoiler fun, just jam to these tunes from “The First Time”

'Glee' covers 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' -- is it better than Justin Bieber's?

Sorry, retail workers of America. This holiday season brings us not one, but two high-profile new versions of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" to add to every store's holiday playlist. Justin Bieber's jazzed-up duet with Ms. Carey herself dropped first, and Friday (Nov. 4) brings a cover by the "Glee" cast (specifically Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes). So, considering "All I Want"is arguably the best modern Christmas song since The Beach Boys' "Little Saint Nick" -- seriously, we'd argue that any day -- how do the two covers compare to the original?Despite the presence of Carey on Bieb's version, we're going to have to go with "Glee" here. The slightly slowed-down, retro beat works well here, and the lack of vocal acrobatics is refreshing (seriously, you do not need to add runs to EVERYTHING). Both adhere closely to the original, but frankly, the "Glee" version was just more fun to listen to.Of course,...

'Glee': 'West Side Story' and the Warblers in 'The First Time' songs

Considering Tuesday's (Nov. 8) episode of "Glee" sees the McKinley High drama club finally mount their Rachel-starring production of "West Side Story," it shouldn't be surprising that the majority of tunes from "The First Time" come from the iconicmusical.Lea Michele and Darren Criss' duet of "One Hand, One Heart" (as Rachel and Blaine playing Maria and Tony) is particularly lovely, as is their take on "Tonight." The duet between Santana (Naya Rivera) and Rachel on "A Boy Like That" is also completely acceptable. (Nothing special, right? Or are you hearing something we're not?)But even though those three songs are gorgeously sung, we're kind of obsessed with the cast's fake Puerto Rican accents on "America." ("A-merrr-eeee-caaaa" sounds so different coming from a bunch of white-bread Ohio high schoolers.) It's not the most rousing version of the song we've ever heard, but it's certainly the best one we'll hear on a primetime high school comedy."The First Time" also...
