In the 40's and 50's, the United States of America promotes a witch-hunting led by Senator Joseph McCarthy and supported by the FBI of J. Edgar Hoover. In 1953, while fear ruling this nation and an incipient television, the CBS journalist Edward R. Murrow, duly supported by his producer and closer friend Fred Friendly and his competent team, decides to use his talk show to expose the abusive senator and his contradictions.
