Gordon believes local restaurants are the backbone of our community and, when times are tough, they need our support more than ever. To back the best of the best, he's on a mission to try out your recommended places and crown one of them Britain's Best Local Restaurant. In this episode, two Italian restaurants go head to head, cooking a menu of ravioli, venison, pork escalope and fig and frangipane tarts. Janet will be expanding on last year's experience raising veal calves to starting her own small holding. And Katie "The Whore" Price gets her hands dirty, cooking chicken kievs in the celebrity challenge.
