Time for some not-so ah-maz-ing news: "Happy Endings" is officially dead.Sony Pictures TV's quest to find an adoptive home for the orphaned, and underrated, comedy after ABC abandoned it in a dumpster this May has come to an end. Deadline reports that the cast's contract options expire over the weekend of June 29-30, as the month ends, and with no real option in sight, Sony has no choice but to let them. That's not to say that valiant attempts weren't made to find the quirky little comedy a new network to call home and reach the 100-episode syndication mark. Obviously, they weren't satisfied with the results.Sony TV, the studio behind the ensemble comedy, plans to shop it to other networks. There has already been news of interest from USA, and Sony has previously been successful moving "Cougar Town" from ABC to TBS.... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/05/happy-endings-canceled-by-abc-may-be-shopped-to-other-networks.html
