While working the front desk, Melody espies a handsome young man across the lodge. [Insert tinkling piano music] After falling off her stool and banging her head against his (twice), Melody finds out that Bill is a college student visiting the Bar None with his parents. Completely flustered, Mel somehow volunteers to show him the lake later that day. He agrees, and it's a date! But Melody is aghast at her clumsy behavior, and nervous about what the date might bring. Brad tells Melody to just relax and be herself, but Mel is horrified at that thought. After all, this is an older college guy. If only she could get advice from a guy on what to do. ""Wait a minute...Ted is kind of a guy."" Brad advises against it, but sensing Mel's insecurity, she gives her cautious approval. Mel finds Ted at the corral, and not surprisingly Ted is ready to help. After all, ""I'm great at solving other people's problems."" So, Melody enrolls in the Ted School of Romance.
