Highlander: The Source is the fifth installment of the Highlander film series, with Adrian Paul returning as Duncan MacLeod from the television series and the fourth film, Highlander: Endgame. Highlander: The Source is the first Highlander film in the franchise to not be released in American theatres; instead, it was shown on the Sci-Fi Channel on September 15, 2007. It is not known when the film will be released onto home video formats, but a promotional DVD trailer appeared on youtube recently.
